yes very true but even recommended grade by company is 10w30..10w40 isn't too much viscous than 10W30..in city condition, difference will be negligible..& also more viscous the oil is, more sluggish the bike will behave!!Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View Post

Its already 43 Deg back here in West Bengal and I drive my bike in extreme heat during the nun time.. Hence Shell SS AX7 10W40 is a big YES for me....Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostW30 grade oil is thinner compared to w40 grade oil. Obviously bike feels smoother with GP4T compared to AX7. AX7 gives better protection to engine internals than GP4T under harsh heat conditions.

Apart from a small fairing redesign to better help cooling of the fuel pump (bigger gaps near the left fairing), there are no changes in plastic design. Yes, the fairing is sturdier now with better fitments quality wise too. But, all mechanical components are same. Engine is smoother.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostI am planning to change oil cooler in my ZMR...most of the fins are bend....
Is there any change in new ZMR oil cooler or it is same...
Answer to your query - NO.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Do check with your SVC if they can have the bent fins fixed. Changing the cooler may just be a redundant and expensive exercise.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostI am planning to change oil cooler in my ZMR...most of the fins are bend....
Is there any change in new ZMR oil cooler or it is same...Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

yes i have checked...they have no solution to fix bend fins...Originally posted by bbsrailfan View PostDo check with your SVC if they can have the bent fins fixed. Changing the cooler may just be a redundant and expensive exercise.
Also, some are badly damaged fins which cannot be straighten ...some are slightly bend.....
Cost i inquired is Rs 1145...that of older stock price at SVC....price may be changed...

That switch which you are referring is for blinkers..which I got installed just inside fairing/near front shockers..now I removed both blinkers & this orange color is rust on that key
I will get rid of this key too now!!

Guys am in a real confusion now! Planned to change my tires long back but i still cant make up my mind whether to go for a bigger one or stick to stock size. Cause of the filter, the acceleration of my bike is increased a lot which divya bro has seen it personally. I simply love the pull of the bike. But now if i upgrade to a thicker tyre, ill loose out on the acceleration. So what do i do? Are there good tyres of the same stock size which just 'look' bigger? Cause i feel the size of the tyres are puny! I cant have both acceleration and bigger tyre size so guys please help!ZMR- PGMFI re-defined

Bro I understand ur dilemma cos even I went thru same situation a week ago but now m a happy n satisfied user of psd :-) yes it is bigger dan stock tyres n has better grip too. D main drawback is it is very heavy n hinders d bike's accn, it is noticeable n if I try to rip d engine makes a kirr sound as though m killing it, but m a sane rider so in city i ride it like a 125cc bike. On highways it impresses u a lot with its grip, it gives enough traction to cruise above 100 without any fear of slips in case of sudden braking or changing lanes. Even in city it easily dives into the corner.Originally posted by abhi7013 View PostGuys am in a real confusion now! Thr r pros n cos in everything if u want more planted bike, better grip, broader Tyre, looks u must opt for psd or any other Tyre but must be an upgrade from d stock.in ur case as u've installed an air filter it shudn't hurt ur bike much go for it, u can even consider michelin sirac street 100/90-18 or zapper q 110/90-18 tt which seems economical, choice is yours :-)

You'll lose 5-6 kmph on top end, but how frequently do you do that?Originally posted by alok urs View PostBro I understand ur dilemma cos even I went thru same situation a week ago but now m a happy n satisfied user of psd :-) yes it is bigger dan stock tyres n has better grip too.
