            Guys i have met with an accident..i want to how much both fairings costs..supervisor asked me to change both fairings.i have damaged right indicator and gear pedal etc they have given a estimate around 27k.....will it cost that much?Thankss

              27K? That's exorbitant! The fairings (separate fittings for left, right) used to be 1600 a piece, but under any circumstances, they shouldn't cost you more than 2000 bucks each. How did they reach the 27K figure?

                there are some touch up work and have bend on the left handle which also has to be changed they listed 14 items didnt get to see the esitamte as i was in hospital...

                  First things first - wish you a speedy recovery.
                  Do make sure to review the list provided by the supervisor. 27K is too high an amount, even after you include things like RVMs, gear levers, clip-ons etc. Hope your alloys aren't bent.

                    27K is too much...did they estimate the Ninja 250 fairing cost?..kidding...it much higher then 27k for n250....

                    they have estimated too much ....check each part and there cost too at your SVC...

                      Post the SVC estimate here.

                      For comparison, another rider from the ZMA thread has been quoted 23k for repairs. Compare it with yours.

                        Hey.. are you alright?? don't worry about what happened to the bike as long as you are safe and fit..

                        Please mention the parts that need a change as 27K sounds as if you are going to replace all the body parts except the engine and chasis..

                        Get the list of parts that they have quoted and post the pic of your bike after this unfortunate incident so that we know if they are quoting it reasonably..

                          Thaks guys i am getting better.where do i get the spares of my fairings???wont get it here at trivandrum supervisor said you only get it in Kollam which 60-70kms away from here.i have contacted there they said they have fairings of herohonda only what should i do?my second service is due in 29th this month if i cant get the parts before it i cannot do the service will it affect the waranty?
