236 rupees a piece. It's used to help you grip the tank with your thighs and avoid scratching the same in the process.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Is it transparent type or colored like black colored pad with red logo for black colored bike, white, red & so on?
Because mine is max brown color extreme, so if it is transparent, then it will be useful for me.

Not sure about other colors, but it is transparent for the white bike.

Yes, Black is having Black color background...Red is having Red color....white is transparent...make sure to know the SVC about the color before order...as each color is having different part code...

A service guy once informed me that there will be some carbon deposits on the place where Z logo tank pad is. It blackens there and hence they introduced that silicone transparent pads.

Carbon deposits? I didn't get you. You can always wash/wax the bike.
Google "Tankpads usage" and you'd get the correct info.

It blackens on side of the tank where our thigh touches. When service guy informed about this, I recalled when I polish on that area, I used see black thing on my polishing pads.

That must be dirt on edges of pad

That's what I mentioned in the 1st reply of mine. It saves the tank from scratches (or dirt). Tankpads help you lock your highs securely to the tank and aid in maneuverability.

Slightly reduced performance. With the vendor issues sorted out now (as per sources), we should be getting better quality filters soon.

I have put the same filter few days back, price was Rs285/-. No difference in performance noted. Although someone in the Karizma R thread did mention about reduced quality.

I do not know how someone has said this one is bad quality but this one is viscous filter like Honda dazzler or such. These have oil in filters which helps in better filtration. This is better one than old one.
And regarding quality and spares supply then let me tell you all that due to very old tender and pricing, the vendors had supplied low quality and less supply. But when hero saw that parts were low quality and spares quantity is down, recently new tenders from vendor were obtained. The prices of all spares have increased so do have quality and availability. So rest assured.

That one is viscous filter. Usually air filter are supplied by elofic or lumax.
Instead you can get directly from elofic or lumax and it will costs less. Even old model paper ones will be available.

Sibun Da actually Chandan from ZMA thread had reported loosening of performance within 1000-1500km after replacing with the new green color filter. He has also added an extra foam filter on existing filter to increase its life.

PS- I personally haven't noticed any changes yet. Filter is 600+kms old

                                Small update from my side.
Have noticed good amount of change in throttle response after using Iftex system G for about 600+kms.

Also a small doubt - Since ZMA/ZMR don't have engine kill switch, I sometimes pull the break and leave the clutch to stop the engine ( only sometimes) is it a wrong practice. Should I stop doing it. ??
