Hi Friends.... What exactly does the Warranty in ZMR cover? I have an issue with my ZMR tank as I see that petrol leaks out from the tank Is this covered under warranty?
Also would be great if you can tell me the procedure to get it replaced!

throttle plate free play

My ZMRs throttle dont play freely.
Actually i got a fall on road when a dog suddenly came in between the road
Since then its not working properly
The agency people changed a piece of metal which fits on the side of throttle
Even ater that the problem is not resolved
The agency personnel says its the best he could do.
Need suggestion on this.

yes it is covered under warranty, get it checked at ASC. They will repair it for free and if it is some manufacturing defect, they will replace it for U.

Warranty is 90% on metal and 50% on plastic.
How old is your ride? You can always replace the tank under warranty (if the bike doesn't have a poor record in maintenance and accident-wise).
Talk to the SVC manager and try to build rapport with him. May take a couple of months but you'll spend much less.

Need more info. Try changing both accelerator cables (cables A and B). You can get these done by a trusted roadside mech too.
By metal piece along the throttle, do you mean bar end weights?

hello guys
i met with an accident today while coming to office.
it was not anybodies fault
it was my fate
there was a wooden slab with nails on it on the road and as i was following a bus i couldnt make it out from a distance so my front tire went on the slab and it skid and my zmr crashed and i fell down on the ground, but the good thing i did was i stood up immediately and looked back for any vehicles but to my luck there was no big vehicles like bus or truck and i was saved as it was tumkur ring road and always trucks or bus will travel in plenty,Gods grace was on me, i was left only with the small injury.
i couldnt lift the bike alone as i was having pain but( i also want to know the technique to lift the bike)
to my surprise nobody came forward to help me lift the bike as Indians really do that but they came after long time when i tried to lift it in various ways.i tried to start the bike but it didnt, i though it may be due to cut off sensor when the bike bends to an angle,i thought it was still on.i tried full throttle method and tried several times,is it a bad thing to do this?
i tried to call the svc but nobody picked and as soon as i called my friend, it started.
the handle of the bike is bent,
what can be done to remove the bend?
my right wrist and leg is paining very badly and i am typing in left hand as i felt like sharing this with you guys to add to this bad luck, i am sitting in office since i didnt tell my manager about my accident.zmrs fairing is really strong, it was left with few scratches and scratches on the exhaust

r u ok? currently using intrnet on mobile. shall post the link to bluevolt's thread where he's shown lifting a bike. get the bent parts changed. don't go for cheap repairs.

sorry to note that you had a accident this morning....First of all Take leave and go see a doctor and attend to your injuries IMMEDIATELY.......when you are behind any vehicle always ride your bike in line with one of the rear wheels,to avoid pot holes, or problems like what you have encountered..

thts the reason you haven't been mailing me since the past few days.......bro please get your self checked at a good clinic....!!! and yes preferably get your handle bars changed as if you mend it ....it will get the issue back after some time...so its always better to get the handle bars changed....!!
look for cracks on your rear break peddle.....right footpeg and front break lever also...!! look for your right front suspension for leakage of fork oil...(possibilities are very low but just incase).!!!...And yeah the fairing of the zmr is of good quality....which is what makes the bike heavy...i have only once seen a fairing break during a fall when a fren banged it onto a divider...!!
