Actually this the the exact problem im facing. going tomorrow to a private mech as HM SVC are full of jack ass mech. i think the over tightened tappets are culprit here.
please also check one thing more. start the engine and pull the throttle to 3.5k rpm and hold it there and check for engine misfiring sound from silencer.
yes, I have misfiring problem at 3.5rpm, although I don't have any other problem.

for mine SVC has set tappets two times in a week....but still they are not able to rectify...as for the misfiring from silencer ....no such problem...but if i ride at any constant speed and at constant RPM...bike is speed fluctuate a lot...this is manly in speed below 60...at high speed not much problem...

All this problem appears after they fix the issue of engine stalling..and engine noise....

Also, in my bike i am getting a strange sound from engine...SVC says its a tapped...rest is above i mentioned....

today went to SVC but not HMC SVC. the tappets were over tightened so the mech adjusted it.
As of now bike is running good but still i need time to inspect it properly. ill post the updates.

This indicates the best tune of your bike. See the plug is reddish like brick. So the tune is perfect. This is why i like FI engines. They always maintains the best fuel management. Nothing to worry. Your engine is in best condition. Next time i will buy FI bikes and no carburettor as i have to tune my carburettor carefully to get this type of tuning.

Guys no response? The chain keeps making noise by hitting the guard. So any remedy to tighten it? Which screw, which way, etc etc??

Shall answer in layman terms. All u need is a #22 spanner. Loosen the rear axle using the spanner. The bolt to loosen is the one with which the rear shocks are tightened to. Do NOT remove the nuts completely, halfway is good enough. The chain set on the swing-arm has markings on both sides like a scale. All you need to do is pull back the rear wheel a wee bit. Optimal chain slack should be 25 mm IIRC.
Ensure that both the markers have the same reading. Re-tighten the bolts.
P.S - get it tightened by a mech and see the process.

Please answer this query of mine. Request psr sir, sibun da, paddy bhai, sriram sir, ashwin, acs sir, pinaki sir, ravi bhai (and anyone else) to pitch in and tell me if this is possible.

                      1. Ninja 250R OEM brake pads (front and rear) - same price +/- 100 bucks
Though Karizmas have always had 'ok' (in a positive way, but not exceptional) braking performance, will Ninja's pads improve braking significantly?

                      2. Steel braided brake lines (ala P220)
Is this possible? Will I have to change the entire brake setup for this or will the housing change for brake lines do the job?

Yes it is technically possible, but you need to make sure if the length matches. And I personally dont feel its a VFM.

front pad of ninja is direct fit on karizma and yes braking will improve as the pad is sintered type, cant say for rear.
P220 steel braided brake hose is direct fit but approx 1000 bucks for minor improvement is not VFM.

Ok, so I shall drop the steel braided lines' idea then. I'm a little skeptical for RTR's pads. I feel braking shall deteriorate with them being used. And I don't want to save money here, I wanna know whether investing 1200 bucks for Ninja's pads (which is the same for ZMR OE pads) prove to be worthy?

How long should I expect them to last?
P.S - My OE front pads lasted 15k kms. I know Ninja's may not last so much, but a rough idea shall help me decide. Also, do I see at least 10% improvement in overall braking?
