    1. Ninja 250R OEM brake pads (front and rear) - same price +/- 100 bucks
Though Karizmas have always had 'ok' (in a positive way, but not exceptional) braking performance, will Ninja's pads improve braking significantly?

    2. Steel braided brake lines (ala P220)
Is this possible? Will I have to change the entire brake setup for this or will the housing change for brake lines do the job?
Ninja250 and ZMA use the same Nissin Calipers for front brake, and so they are interchangeable...Ninja pads are Sintered metal , while ZMA OE are composit material...so Ninja pads are superior...
If you find the length and banjo ends of P220 brake hose matching with ZMA, then it can be fitted...a Steel braided Hose limits the Hose Stretch under braking and offers better longevity.

Braking with RTR pads is not so bad, but they dont last at all. Mine lasted less than a 500~1k kms. Now I can hear the metal screetching, I've decided to let it run like this untill the RTR rotor spares arive at TVS Spares outlet.

            • Ok guys, I think I've gone insane in the past few days trying to figure out ways to fit in non OE items in my bike.

I remember I'd a conversation with a wise man regarding Angel Eye on a bike and both of us concurred that it served no purpose apart from being a show-off thing, or a show piece; to be subtle.
              I WANNA SHOW OFF TOO!!!
But only the Angel Eye thing. Can I fit just the angel eye along with my Osram NB without damaging the HL assy?

I know it'll increase the heat in the reflector region but I can try if the reflector won't burn.

              What say?

Stick to the oe pads. Have you compared ninja brake pads with oe? You'll see a difference in back plate in ninja's. When I had on my bike for experimental basis, it needed more press to actuate the bite. Braking is much better but I thought would need to handle brake lever more than two fingers. I'm still puzzled over and would not hesitate to give another try. Fyi Ninja brake pads coats Rs.1345 at Probiking showroom as of early this year.

Angel eye, demon stare, circus LEDs are best to defying the Original look. I always think stock is the look and show off and nothing to beat that.

Ha ha ha... Loved this one... I saw an angel eye LED on eBay for 250 bucks, hence the question! Osram NB throws ample light for now, hence I thought, why not some fancy with it?

Hmm, lets see. Currently the front pads shall last for another 1-1.5k kms at least. If Ninja's pads will be in stock at that time, I'll buy them, else OE pads. Its just a 150/- difference after all.

tappets were the culprits but the main culprit was the spark plug and now cold start issues and misfiring are history

mounting screws were tightened during the repair so even vibrations are history. nowadays i feel like flying on a magic carpet

what you meant by "putting strain on the engine"???
is it vibrating or making some kind of harsh noise???
Shell AX7 is an awesome oil and worth every penny. I have toured to bhutan on this oil which in fact was approx 1000 kms old, i ran the bike for another 2750 kms ie total 3750 kms and there was no drop in oil level, neither the oil was completely deteriorated, i was cruising at 80-90kmph most of the time with 110-115kmph short bursts. i think it is enough for proving the oil worthiness.

just sent you a private message also....below 60 it is smooth, but when it reaches speeds 75,80 and beyond that, i feel like it is not pushing and struggles to give the smoothness that you usually get......i am not sure what the problem could be, i was running fine but since the time i changed the oil it shows up these signs.......
