^ your top end will be better on straight line however will suck on hilly terrain and this change will also force you to downshift more frequently than you do now.

correct me if I am wrong but zmr can't redline in 5th gear, so I doubt that top end will increase.

And I dn't understand actually, what problem I will be facing on hilly roads, and why? Can U please elaborate on that.

Leave the red line. I'm saying you vehicle will not be able to pull enough during the climb hence you'll have downshift many times. When others are in 4th, you'll probably riding on 3rd gear.

I tried that bro, but unfortunately that didn't help. Dn't knew what's wrong, can anyone suggest something else.

You'll be able to push 5-10kmph more that what you do now. My sincere request is to stay stock, unless you really want this mod.

                • Changed oil to shell ultra 10W40 FS today morning.. Honestly i did not find any change between the oil i used before and this one.. Used agip FS til now.. The slight difference i noticed was that after 5k the ride becomes kinda smooth. Not so much but little as compared to before.. It costed me 796/- whereas agip used to cost 650/-.. One query: Removed the oil totally and poured in 1litre of the new one.. Is it sufficient? And the guy in the bunk asked if petrol cleaning is required.. I refused..He said it is used to remove the dirt left behind.. But i did not opt for it... Is it necessary?

Nope. You are good. There are engine flush additivies have strong chemicals and might harm the engine internals like oil seals which would have bedded in due course of time, thus there are chances that seal would given into leaks. However, these are used for the bikes been standing long time in the shed (say years) and where applicable.

ok, but just for curiousity, I need to know, if we are not able to red line in 5th gear, how can re-sprocketing give more top speed?

If u've ridden a gear cycle you'll understand better.. Its the same logic.. As in stock assume your bike does 77kmph at 5k. After modding, at 5k, your speed would be approx 85+.. Just assuming.. This means, to do 77kmph after modding, your bike needs less power than t needed before.. So obviously, to do higher speeds, your bike will not be stressed as it would have been when it was in stock.. However your pick-up will get hit..

Same problem.. I tried oiling, tightening etc etc.. Only way is to replace the nut which is available only at the ASC..
