Same problem as mine...check fuel injector...
I have read somewhere (not for ZMR) that after 25000K fuel injector should be replced not clean if creating any problem...means life of fuel injector is apprx 25000K...i am not sure on this...

In our country adulterated fuel are more ...so this parts get damaged early..

AFAIK, somewhere near left footpeg. I'm not entirely sure. Try google.

Other times I have noticed when you shift from 1st to 2nd or downshift from 3rd to 2nd. This could be bad fuel. But, ZMRs knock on a hot day at slow traffic filled road speeds. There is the knock ( lean mix) an then you can get the stall. Or the 1st to 2nd or downshift from 3 to 2. Happens even in the nights. It is all not regular and can even be rare. But, i list them just to share my limited experience. I havent done any DIY yet, never ripped, done about 5 k in almost a year. In other words, Its almost a new bike, but I realised these are a few characters of this bike, like most wheels.

@Hondarider. its a case of the spark plug cable gettin wet and misfiring and things like that. Realised that when a wanna be shumi on a truck on a rainy day decided to waterwash everything on the otherside of the lane. Simple diagnosis, start, it might with splutter if you hear clicks its a wet plug.
thanks... will check it if it happens the next time...

                          • yesterday a strange thing happened. while at probiking SVC, servicing ninja 650, the mech took half liter of diesel and mixed EP90 in it and cleaned the chain. After cleaning, the chain was shimmering like silver and hurt our eyes
                            now the question:
Is it ok to clean chain like this???

                              yes certainly.

We have posted same in ZMR thread months back.

Remove front sprocket and chain cover. clean with diesel or petrol. Spray wd40 then. let it rest for few mins. oil it with fresh oil ( 2t or engine) or grease and note the difference in acceleration

other things you can do are:

Replace the acceltor cables (both) and that makes noticebale change
there is a pulley like arrangement on the right side ig uess over which acceletor cable runs, it is exposed and often gets clogged...spray wd40 and clean it regularly , helps in reducing friction and smoother run for the cable, can prevent from cable breaking up... happened witha couple of frnds with zmr.. the zma had this part covered with a black cover

                              • Maverick : in your post erlier on the previous page, i am seeing that there is leakage of oil near the head... its gasket perhaps which needs replacement, check with svc and hold back for FS oil if gasket is leaking... better to get that sorted first
