)We can always meet. Maybe we can have meal at Vellore. Halfway for both (almost). I'd love to meet you.
Tools, hmmm... A few spares that one 'must' have while on a trip are:
1. Accelerator cables A and B. - 1 number each
2. Clutch cable - 1 number (2 in case you're skeptical)
3. Spare tubes (in case the tire gets punctured beyond repair), else a TL puncture repair kit will do. Its small in size, usually a fist size. Can be put into a slot in the backpack easily.
4. Tools like a 22 mm spanner, a 17 mm spanner and the stock toolkit that came with the bike.
5. An extra headlight bulb, a torch. (Only if you ride at night)
6. Medical aid kit and plenty of fluids.
These items put together weigh less than a couple of kgs but can save your life and money when in trouble. Keep your ride serviced before a ride and ensure that you run atleast 200-300 kms after the service to ensure there are no problems cropping up. You don't want getting stranded on the highway because some bloke at the SVC forgot putting engine oil in the bike.
