    The beam color as of now is Yellow because I m using the complete stock set up of P220. I am having P220 55 watts yellow halogen bulb.

    I might change the bulb to 80 watts if required in future.

    Here's a pic of the bulb on.


    The only problem is I no longer have a reflector which might create problem riding at single lane highways like NH 17 at night if I want to speed up.
    But Overall, it is a much better experience with Projector set up. Roads looks much more clearer and gives you more confidence to ride at night.

      P220 (55w) and P200(35 w) bulb is of white light...they are not completely yellowish..little whiteness...

      I have use the P200 bulb in my ZMR...there light is brighter then any of a stock bulb...

      Cost bulb is high P220 was of Rs. 230..and P220 is more then 230...

        • Yesterday my friend got ZMR , road it for some 20 kms , finding neutral is very easy just in one go , which suprised me as the bike is hardly 50 km run in & its some what difficult in my 1 year old ZMR . My starter is smooth , but the new bikes found to be very much smooth very low sound & also engine is too silent , i think its just because parts are new & sound will change after run in . Or may be there are some serious changes inside .

            • hey guys.. hope everyone r doing good with their Zmr's
              I ve got a clarification.. with regular oil change and having clocked around 2700kms I ve not gone above 80-83 km/h with 5rpm level in order to set the engine very well and I had planned to rev my zmr rit after 3000kms.. !

              but wat happened last week is one of d experienced HMC Mech who s also a known fellow to me rode ma bike and asked me whether I usually ride very aggressively.. Coz d engine s yet to set properly !! and when I told d fact he advised to continue doing d same till 5000kms and rit after tat day I been shifting gears with 4rpm itself now am confused wat to do guys pls leave me ur suggestions...

                Friends from Mumbai\Thane\new Mumbai,

                I stay in Mumbai and have got my ZMR from Vision Auto in Ghatkopar. My bike's right bar-end-weight was stolen at office and hence requested my SVC to order a pair 4 me. However, all they are doing is coming up with excuses for past 1 and 1/2 months...M simply fed up. Also queried at few bike spares outlets at chembur but no success. Can someone guide me where to search for? I know ZMR parts are not easily available..but the wait is just too long.

                  i dont think you have to wait for 5000kms for engine to set in... Please ask the mechanic what makes him say that the engine is not set properly? some noise, difference in pick-up etc. ask him to pin-point. At times they do say these things so that people go very very very easy with their bikes which means less troubles to them...

                      Meanwhile.. i submitted a request online for the SVC near my house, they called, i went there yesterday and asked the guys to either arrange the stickers or they can help me get the claim for the bike..

                      Now surprisingly, in the first time they denied claim and now after putting a Suggestion on the site, they were ready to give me the claim but only for the damaged part and not the entire body...

                      Then they were ready to arrange the stickers as well but the stickers are too costly (total going above 2500).... so i asked them to keep it on hold...

                      Now, if you can arrange stickers in price less than 2000 then i would be able to get the entire bike re-painted... but i'm also worried if the paint will be genuine or not... and also, if there is any breakage in the Fairing on the inside, then i'm screwed big time..

                      But anyways... if you can let me know the prices of the stickers then it will be really helpful... Thanks!!!!

                          Please write to [email protected] that the SVC is delaying the spares. So that they may advice SVC to source them from factory.

                            Slow and steady wins the race. This is how I ran in my second cylinder kit, and everything's worked perfectly ever since.
                            Till 250 - 3.5k.
                            250~500 - 4k.
                            500~750 - 4.5k.
                            750~1000 - 5k.
                            1000~1250 - 5.5k.
                            1250~1500 - 6k.
                            1500~1750 - 6.5k.
                            1750~2000 - 7k.
                            Do what every you want after 2000.

                            And remember respect the RPM limit in every gear, i.e if 1500~1750Kms, then from 1st till 5th upshift only at 6.5k RPM. If your riding at 6k and before you get to reach 6.5k to upshift to 2nd gear, traffic comes, DONT DO ANYTHING, remain in the same gear and keep riding, upshift as soon as you reach the 6.5k mark only.
                            Since 80% of a bikes wear and tear happens when starting the bike, let the bike warm up properly, else taking the bike upto 7k etc in 1st gear will cause a lot of damage.


                            Now coming back to the point. The reason the mech said your bike's not upto the mark is cause you've been riding it so slow that the carbon deposits have increased suffocating performance, the performance will be back on track when you start ripping the bike and burning off the carbon deposits.
