1) 12 Volt only . 35/35 & 55/60 is watt . 55 watt HID would be brighter than 35 watt HID , but require around 10 amp current to start . While we have 6 amp battery . So choose carefully .Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View Post1. What volt to be fitted....35/35 or 55/60??
2. Hid Lamps would be better or Projectors?
3. Approx cost that i would have to incur?
4. what impact would it have on my warranty ??
5. where can i get it done in Mumbai?
6.what is the procedure of the Hid being fitted on to the bike?
7. last and the most important....will it really be useful??
2) Projectors help to focus on certain spot , where as without projector it will be complete spread of light with stock reflector , so HID without projector trouble oncoming traffice .
3) Chinease one would cost around 1000 rupees , same chinease with gurantee will cost you around 2500 rupess .
4) As per owner's manual any change would void warrenty .
5) Don't know , may be on grant road .
6) Easy , as i found just plug & play connectors with a relay wire which need to be connected to battery positive terminal .
7) Depends on Bulb Temp .
This is what i found , ask any one who have experience of HID , they would certainly provide better answers .
BTW me too thinking of getting Philips HID when i would be in mumbai next time .
Check front wheel , cone set , wheel bearings etc . Can't remember what others things need to be checked will let you know when i check in shop manual .Originally posted by Adityaask View PostGuys my handlebar shakes/vibrates a lot at 60+km/hr . ?? anyone else had faced the same issue ???
Good that you getting fairing changed , as it would be a safe game . Get others part to replaced which having color issue under warrenty .Originally posted by hondarider View PostThanks for trying out man... Appreciate it...!!!
I got my bike checked from a different SVC in Delhi.. they said they will give me the claim for the damaged part... And they checked the entire front body (opening and packing cost 200rs) and suggested to go for claim as the locks for the headlight and right fairing have broken....
So I'll get the claim work done and will get the entire front end changed... means left side too!! will pay for that as it'll be a complete new front end and no issues of yellowish parts...
Meanwhile the Gurgaon SVC guys have not called me back and I haven't received any update from them regarding the matter even till now... So I definitely will not go for Gurgaon SVC now...

Back home after riding 2100 kms in 5 days. Rode in and out of Gujarat exploring interiors of the state, Beautiful Gir Forest, Somnath Temple, amazing Coastal Line route all the way up to Holy Dwarka!
No issues in the entire ride in ZMR
I am still running on mineral oil though I have changed long time back but somehow I always end up adding mineral oil. I have never added synthetic oil, May be I should try it next time.

Definitely one of the best till date
and the Mileage has increased definitely.
But this is really expensive @ 1250 INR post March 2012.
Again considering the drain period of 5000 Kms this becomes cost effective.
Have earlier used the Hero Honda Mineral Oil, Motul Semi Synthetic & Honda Synthetic ones.
Drain period was always within 2000 Kms.

Available in Delhi

you have 2 options -Originally posted by sandip_aeie View PostI have 40000 Cash... I wanna Buy ZMR...I live In Kolkata... Can You Help Me With The EMI SChemes...
1.. Approqch the dealer and get finance cos through him. Advantage is that documentation is hassle free. But may be costly as mostly pvt banks or finance institutes have such tie up
2. Approach bank directly - currently sbi is offering cheapest and also their services have improved overall. Advantage - cheaper loan hence lower n fewer emi. Disadvantage - you have to arrange and co-ordinate all the required papers. For further details it would be appropriate to talk to Bank officials directly
Hope to see ur pic with the bike soonWARNING!! Objects seen in Mirror are Disappearing Rapidly!!!!!!
Never be Afraid to Slow Down!!!!

HDFC is offering somewhere between 8.75%-13%.Originally posted by sandip_aeie View PostDo you know what is the interest percentage? and what is the minimum deposit...?
If you give 40000 as D.P, then your EMI for 3 years should work out to be, roughly 3k per month. All the Best!when the strech is empty, my bike tells me to wring its throttle and give my commands!
