what is best security system to prevent our karizma zmr from theives
Best security system are Xena and Kabrus which is basically a simple disc alarm. You will have to get it through online shopping though but it is better than the other security systems you get in our market as it will not involve any electrical modifications as far as I know. Other can comment here if they have used any so far, I did not find the need of getting one for ZMR yet.

Best to calculate is tank full process....first fill full tank...run for approx 100 then again fill the tank full...note down the petrol fill in second time and then divide it with the km run...

bro please explain in detail in am not getting it

did u mean first time petrol reading ---(minus) new petrol reading/(divided) by kms done(approx 100 according to u )

First time Fill the tank full....

          Then ride for 100 KM...

then again fill the tank full (goes empty on run of 100 KM) ..let say it been filled with 2 liters..note down and divide with 100 .... 100/2 = 50 KM...

            • Does a change of spark plug improve performance and efficiency???

              Hey hi zmrites!!!
Just wanted to ask you guys...whether changing the stock spark plug to something else...like an NGK IRIDIUM would improve the pickup and fuel efficiency of the bike?? And if anybody tried please give reviews about it and also give me specification of the spark plug and where would i find it.....with an approx price!!!

Thnx...and yeah have ordered a 35w HID from navnish...would be reaching me by tomorrow...will get it installed asap !! I hope finally my illumination issue gets resolved!!! And yeah any plans for mumbai g2g this weekend...???

U can replace the standard spark plug with Iridium one, it would have better efficiency though its marginal .

I had tried the NGK G Power plug in my ZMA-R and is a really good upgrade..
My FE went up from 31+ to 40+ city and from 39~40 to 45 on highway. The cold start is good and uniform power through gears and RPM...
The number is DPR8EGP. and costs about Rs.140/-..real VFM

NGK IRIDIUM is of no use...i used for approx 8000 KM...mileage went down few times...i read in some other forum that in IRD mileage will only increase in Highway in city it will drop...

yes; very very little increase in pickup...

Yeh I have been using NGK Iridium for the last 15500 Kms and doing good.
From the initial stock one YES the Mileage and Pick up has increased but may be negligible.

But again Mileage is something which is dependent on plenty of factors.

                      1. Engine Oil
                      2. Riding Style
                      3. City or Highway
                      4. Road Tarmac (Concrete or Pitch or Asphalt)
                      5. Consistent Speed without Brakes
                      6. Quality & Quantity of Fuel
                      7. Air Filter
                      8. Spark Plug
                      9. Cross Winds

For an individual Rider having all these in favorable conditions is theoretically impossible for long run.
Even may be I have missed some points also.

Although points made by RAGHAVAN Sir (PSR) are very true indeed.
Have heard from others also that G-Power is Good and Value for Money.
Since I have not used cannot comment but will change to this around 30000 Kms.

NGK Conventional (DPR8EA-9) is Rs 60.00 (Stock in ZMR)
                      NGK G-Power (DPR8EGP) is Rs 130.00
NGK Iridium (DPR8EIX) is Rs 430.00

Note: Spark Plug Specification mentioned in ZMR Manual in Page 03 is Correct but in Page 41 is Incorrect

Both ZMA and ZMR have RELIABLE engines and problems are mostly with connections or cables...
