Can you suggest a good Security Alarm?
most of these alarms are pain as sometimes they are too sensitive & some other times they only start buzzing when you shake your bike..still if you want to go for one then check Minda or Autocop..

Yes I am using AUTOCOP Remote close to TWO Years and touch wood no problems, whatsoever.
More so this is not a pain since the alarm is not activated by pushing and shoving moderately.
When a PERSON willing to steal your Bike will have to un-mount from Main Stand or Side Stand and then only it activates!!!

Anyone changed Wiring Harness in ZMR in the Forum?
Should be applicable to Bikes around 30000 Kms or more under normal conditions.

Just came back two days ago after a Big servicing and Rear Shocker change at 24800 Kms for a pocket damage of 7200 INR.
Will upload the Details once I have the Soft Copy Bill.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

As Satyajit said look for them , also xenos are good one . Xena Disc lock is better as no wiring needed . Also look in Duke 200 ownership thread as one of guy making a bluetooth alarm system .

Why you are changing wiring ? Any problem with current one ? As i know HH bikes uses minda made wiring which are good for 10 years if not played with them .

Post bill copy when you get it .

Had a premonition and that turned really true.

The inevitable awakening, just happened while returning Home from Office.
My Sixth Sense saved me from a disaster.
While passing a City FlyOver used the turning signal for overtaking and the lights flickered and all on a sudden the entire console switched off. Everything vanished in a flash. From Horns to Headlights, Pilots. Checked the Motion on the descent and ensured that the start is switched on.
Crossed all signals and back home and switched off the engine and never to start again.
Have not checked the Fuse below the Seat since returned late yesterday.
May be will try it out today evening.

My SVC Engineer @ HMC have been informed yesterday and will drop down on Friday.
Hope everything is fine and fingers crossed.

Beloved X-Bhpian Brothers, please advise & help!!!

Most probably its just a blown fuse. Once I meddled with wiring for a wind horn and went for a long ride at night. When I tried pass switch, everything went off as you experienced. We found the blown fuse and luckily had one spare fuse. Later I bought 5 fuses each at next HH showroom as a safety.

I hope nothing major just a fuse blown up due to short circuit . Or battery problem .
If its short circuit better get the whole wiring checked . So no problem in future .

no need to check anything as fuses are there to protect any mishap in the wiring harness unless you are using custom fuse.

ya true..until your bike's fuse is doing its job, nothing as such can harm your bike's wiring..

                              • clarification on Oil change

hii guys first i used to change oil from a mechanic nearby.. they removed d lower part of d fairing and then couldn fix it back as it was in stock,, hence there were vibes.

so for d past two times i removed d engine oil using OIL SUCKING PUMP without touching the fairing and then refilled it.. the thing is tat i heard from few of my friends and even from a service center guy tat, removing the oil in this method s not as efficient as it is done by hand.. is it TRUE or a MYTH
