    What?
Nothing is visible in normal conditions and you say fog lamps? Fog lamps are used for illuminating the road during foggy conditions and have a sharp upper cut-off. Meaning the beam is intended to make the road more visible. The 'beam'. You think pilot lamps can produce strong or even normal beams at least? Under normal conditions itself, the pilot lamps barely illuminate anything.
I don see how they are more useful apart from the 'styling' factor.

I need help guys. I wonder why I struggle so much with screws.

So today, I purchased engine oil and decided to give the oil replacement a shot myself. As given in the manual, first I removed the 4 left side screws from the front left under cowl using one screw driver.

Then using the same driver I removed the front left side screw from the front left under cowl. Then came the tough part. The front under cowl and bottom screws just wouldn't open at all. Are those 2 different type of screws from the rest that opened for me? I tried all options in my set but they don't work. Is there any technique that I'm missing? I just keep the driver perpendicular and apply force.

Well, this may not be an answer to your question, but you don't need to remove a single cowl or fairing for changing oil All you need is a size 17 ring wrench, apart from other obvious things like a draining tray and a funnel

Not fog lamps, I meant pilot lamps sorry my bad!! Won't it indicate the oncoming traffic that there's a bike coming, or something like that?? If not, I've been using it wrongly then.

Oh really? But it says so in the manual. I assumed that was necessary to pull out the drain plug.

Yeah, I also had the same notion when I read the manual, but then I saw how they do it in the service centers - they just slide the wrench from under the engine belly and give short turns. The drain nut is spring-loaded and comes off on its own when you unscrew it enough. Remember to put it back again when you refill. There's also a coarse mesh filter just inside the drain nut hole, which you might want to inspect and clean.

Brighter LED pilot lamps will improve your bikes visibility to the oncoming traffic and will also give it a sexy look ya know? there are blue red and green LEDs also available in the market

Those cheap Blue LEDs are PATHETIC. My eyes start watering if I look at them for around 5 seconds. Damn those!! Hmph.

Never fit those green, blue led's. Only go for white, if not yellow. My friend was caught & fined Rs. 100/- just a couple of days back.

So i got the ring spanner like you advised but i only ended up rounding that drain nut :-(

Finally took it to the local mech and he did a good job for ₹50. He couldn't loosen the drain nut as well, but succeeded after removing the entire lower half fairing together. That bottom screw was truly unremovable.

Will go again soon to him for headlight replacement as well.

It is the right one, just that the bottle has a TATA branding

Next time you remove either the Oil Drain Nut or the Tappet cover nut...replace with Pulsar Tappet cover nut with "O" ring....it has a larger head for spanner hold, and fits ZMA/ZMR perfectly...
