Maybe the stock oil is still there in the bike in the gear assembly, as you used 1 litre if am right.

This is what I tried and failed with. Please post a pic if you think I got the wrong tool.

By the way, i poured in 1 litre of the new engine oil. But I think the capacity is 1.1 litre in the bike. Hope that is not a problem.
Avoid using that spanner. Looking at the material that our bolts are made of, this spanner tends to smooth-en the edges of your drain bolt. Instead, use the one which is in the pic that i posted. Perfectly fits your drain bolt and in no way does it round-off the edges.
PS: Sorry for the bad quality.

Old oil was drained out completely. I don't know if what you're saying possible. Will anyways top it up soon.

Thanks bro for the pic. I am going to be very careful with tools going forward.

It can be used. But I'm not sure how good or bad it is in terms to lubrication. A normal lube is good for 300-400 kms of hard riding.

I am planning to do a 0 to 60 test on my bike. Please suggest the optimum rpm or speed to change gears. Should I take it to 3rd? Though I hate all that noise from the lower gears, I want to do this to make sure what the bike is capable of.

I'm looking for an iPhone app that will do the calculation.

                  Ulysse speedometer app.
Upshift post 6k and hold till 7.5k odd. Try doing it in every gear. You should see gps indicated 60 in 4.xx sec and 100 in 12.xx or 13.yy sec.

I have never tried these committedly and all these times are internet times.

I lubed my chain today. Here's how. I had the same problems as yours, and all of them were rectified after this.

Remove the top and bottom chain covers. You need to use a 10mm T bar and remove the 4 screws holding it. You'll have to put some newspapers below the chain and cover the areas right below the chain otherwise the'll get dirty. Now clean the chain with some kerosene and a toothbrush, by rotating the wheel forward. Don't shift to first gear and do this, otherwise the bike would start lugging when you apply some pressure on the chain. Anyhow, after cleaning with kerosene shift to second gear and rev a little.
The extra kerosene will leak off. Switch off the bike now and take a dry cloth and clean the chain now.
After this you need to use a chain lube. I used this chain lube spray called Release-On R-840 which I got for 180 bucks. Apply generous amounts of your choice of chain lube, on the chain and the sprocket teeth. Make sure you DONT apply it on the rear disc! Refit everything back after this.
Or just take the bike to the local mechanic and ask him to do it.

You'll find the transmission to be butter smooth after this. Finding the neutral was soooooo easyyy!!
I was very pleased with the results.

Dude, you posted your bike' pic after a crash few pages back in both Karizma threads.
Now, you post pics of the bike without RVMs, with a bent clutch lever, with torn seat cover, with insects all around due to god knows what reasons!

What do you expect us to do seeing such pictures? Get the bike a wash and fix everything in place!

                                My 2 cents:
                                1. Wash the bike and wipe it once with petrol based products before actual detailing. It'll ward insects away.
                                2. Get proper clutch lever fixed. It is dangerous riding with bent levers.

It is YOUR decision at the end of the day, but I won't like seeing my bike like this at any point of time.
