Wax can be used in any surface as long as it has a gloss finish, if by chance you wax a matte finish sirface, then it'd be close to impossible to wipe it off and hence will leave the are with a faded look.Originally posted by Above_All View PostMotorcycling Experience:

you forgetting that even ZMR has an engine by Honda.CBR150 lacks torque & produce approx 17hp on higher rpm's..both points eventually indicates that it'll need frequently changes of gears in city riding which will be a pain & on steep slopes it might run out of breath while going upwards on higher cogs..Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostPersonally I prefer CBR150R to ZMR at this time. Though ZMR is a good bike, CBR150R is better in every aspect. Being its a Honda product, I assure you about the engine reliability. Better go for CBR150R as you intend to keep the bike for at least 5 years. The spares for CBR150R will definitely lower than a ZMR (regarding outer panels).
even i've seen CBR150, though i won't say that it has low quality body but certainly the buttons on handle were of pathetic quality..Suzuki Gixxer - Current
Karizma ZMR <3 - Sold
Apache RTR160 - Sold
Honda Stunner - Sold
LML Energy - Sold

CBR150R better doesn't mean that ZMR is not good (I didn't say ZMRs engine is not Honda). ZMR is good, but CBR150R is better. CBR may require more frequent gear changes in city but it is more light and nimble in city than ZMR; if you learn to rev high, you can keep up. The handling advantage of CBR150R makes it fun to ride and inspires confident in extreme riding conditions. Also don't forget that CBR's engine is a four-valve DOHC engine with liquid cooling which allows better breathing and helps to build rapid revolutions.Originally posted by 111diablo111 View Postyou forgetting that even ZMR has an engine by Honda.CBR150 lacks torque & produce approx 17hp on higher rpm's..both points eventually indicates that it'll need frequently changes of gears in city riding which will be a pain & on steep slopes it might run out of breath while going upwards on higher cogs..

More gear changes are headache in stop and go traffic.... high revving is going to produce heat that would hurt thighs.... Definitely CBR would be much more nimble then ZMR but that alone doesn't make it a better bike in city...Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostCBR150R better doesn't mean that ZMR is not good (I didn't say ZMRs engine is not Honda). At the end it depends on the rider and his love for his machine...WARNING!! Objects seen in Mirror are Disappearing Rapidly!!!!!!

I ride both Karizma and Dazzler. Dazzler produces almost the same torque as CBR150R. I find Dazzler to be better than Karizma in city; it doesn't require much gear shifts. Lower torque doesn't always mean more gear shifts; it all depends on how the torque is spread at lower gears. To counter heat from high revving, liquid cooling is employed in CBR150R.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View PostMore gear changes are headache in stop and go traffic.... high revving is going to produce heat that would hurt thighs.... I don't say 150R is superior in all aspects, but considering negatives and positives, the positives of CBR150R far outweigh the negatives.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

we were talking about CBR150R gear changing and not dazzler. from where did dazzler came.??? Even ktm boasts liquid cooling but check the thread for heating issues. Even R15 is not very comfortable to ride in city and cbr and r15 have high end torque engines..Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostI ride both Karizma and Dazzler

Okay, I don't want to prolong the discussion, which is OT here. If you are not with open mind, its difficult to accept good things about other bikes. Rest my case here.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View Postwe were talking about CBR150R gear changing and not dazzler. from where did dazzler came.??? With EFI, sane riding will always give better mileage. Carburetor tuning can be messed up by the mechanics, but they can't do anything with EFI. Wit EFI, the mileage issues are always (except when malfunctioning EFI) attributed to other factors which we can check and control ourselves.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View PostWill changing riding style back to sanity and changing gears in 3.5 ~4.5 k rpm help in increasing mileage to 40 or 40+... Or once gone forever gone...
Right now I don't know whats the status of tuning of my bike's carburetor. The AFR screw is stuck and I can't check it. For mileage, even if I control all other parameters, I don't know I will get better FE because I don't know what the state of the tuning of the carburetor.

I got collinite 845 liquid wax . They said to use it on painted surface , not on black plastics / fiber such as dashboards .
But no idea about that visor / windscreen . Should i use on it or not ?
I have a Formula1 in liquid form for bike...and it has mentioned to can be use in Windshields...
For black parts like near to meter console...i am using car dashboard polish from Formula 1...

If you are worried about mileage then try NGK G Power plug..In my ZMA it helped me to get good FE consistently till now..Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View PostWill changing riding style back to sanity and changing gears in 3.5 ~4.5 k rpm help in increasing mileage to 40 or 40+... Try applying brake oil on the AFR screw and repeatedly soak it for 15 minutes before trying to make it turn...WD 40 and Zorrick also work well, but the brake oil seemed to be better in loosening up the AFR screw.Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostRight now I don't know whats the status of tuning of my bike's carburetor. NGK G Power definitely gives better FE with same setting .When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Finally got my bike service by a good mechanic after 3months and 5000kms in one of the ASC where I have a good friend(xBhpian) bike is runnning good now, changed the Air Filter, Fork Oil, Side Colw(from a old old crash) fork alingned, fuel pump cleaned, rear disc pads changed, (clucth assy to be changed, mechanic says it is good for another 5k) switched back to 10W30 after using 20W40 for alsmost 20000kms reason forgot to tell the service engg not to change the oil!
Thanks to Satyajit for sharing his thoughts and detailed service record of the bike....
BTW I am facing problems with braking on my Sirac Street(the direct fit size) its too bad, spoke with a xBhp Hyd Zmarian says he also have the same problem anybody else facing the issue..
EDIT: BTW my 500th post and good this is a Happy one!!All the wise men of the world are called wise only after they spoke their mind, so dont keep the ideas to yourselves!
