I really searched hard for WD40 , no car access here have it . But found it on hardware shop .Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostOk, i was not able to find WD40 at our local stores...will try in Karol Bagh when going to purchase Motul Oil...
Yesterday due to heavy rain i haven't uncovered my ZMR , so fitted that bulb in passion & its working , though due to rain & mud not taken it on road to test intensity , will do it today if no rain.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View Post55/60W wont work on passion and put a drop of engine oil in the key hole,it will solve the problem.
Putting oil drop in keywhole would also do the work but when we park bike & put key in pocket , the oily key makes pocket dirty .Last edited by Above_All; 08-31-2011, 11:47 AM.

Never run it on passion,it will burn the coils.Originally posted by Above_All View PostYesterday due to heavy rain i haven't uncovered my ZMR , so fitted that bulb in passion & its working , though due to rain & mud not taken it on road to test intensity , will do it today if no rain.

I think if source doesn't have sufficient power to provide to accessories , then the accessories should not be at its full extent & it's not gonna burn the source . ( source = coil , Accessories = 55/60 W bulb ) I wish i am not wrongOriginally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostNever run it on passion,it will burn the coils.

I had tried the same in a Glamour and the low and high beam seems to be of same intensity and was not as bright as the stock 35W bulb.Originally posted by Above_All View PostI think if source doesn't have sufficient power to provide to accessories , then the accessories should not be at its full extent & it's not gonna burn the source . If WD40 is not available you can buy Zorik88 which is also a good option for lubrication. I think you should find it in any hardware shop.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostOk, i was not able to find WD40 at our local stores...will try in Karol Bagh when going to purchase Motul Oil...
Yes, i know there are pros/cons of open chain...i have to visit my SVC for lubricate of chain in week or 2nd week...also planning to buy a chain spray i.e. motul or other...otherwise life become less...
ZMR chain cover is heavy, i too did not know about it, when i replace it with open cover and carrying it back to home then i realized its heavy and on weight found approx. 2.5 KG
Now that you have confirmed, I will definitely not remove the chain cover. I have already seen 2 other companions on Karizma R who came with me to Ladakh always lubing their chain as it was without chain cover.
I have welded and cut my chain cover from inside. Any welder would be able to do it. It's a 2 min. job.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View PostIs it a straight fit or chain cover has to be removed? What is the cost. is it TL?
Anyways now a days all bike chain covers have that cut from inside to allow that extra space for tire. Check Dazzler's chain cover for example.
SD is tubeless type and I paid Rs.3800 but I found it available for Rs.3300 in a few places. If you want the best tyre look no further than Pirelli SD.
@All - Few months back I posted pics of HID which I purchased from Navnesh. When I shared the pics with him and based on my feedback he said that the bulb which I have got is not correct. So, he sent me a new bulb which I fitted last week. It is 4300K and truly amazing!!! I can see everything on the road clearly even under the street lights. First time in my life I am satisfied with my bike's headlight as I could manage 125kms speed with road clearly visible.

Can you post some pics of your bike with that tyre? I am in for a tyre change as well and have checked out M45 already but I can also consider Pirelli SD as both the tyres are available with the local dealer.Originally posted by Sachinnair View PostSD is tubeless type and I paid Rs.3800 but I found it available for Rs.3300 in a few places. How much is the price for SD you were quoted? I would suggest check the price with a few shops to understand the market.
I would click few pics this weekend and post. I don't want to because the inner welded part has got a bit rusted but I'll show you how it is cut.Originally posted by siddharth_ZMR View PostCan you please post a pic

My SVC machine also suggest me to put on the cover back...i think i should go back to chain cover and whenever i will change my tyre will go for 110 section as it is direct fit and not touches the chain cover./ without any cut..
Look forward for the pics..Last edited by veryhiphop; 09-01-2011, 12:13 PM.
