But the matter is while am asking one of the herohonda service man, he told that ZMR FI technology is failure one and it will give lot of engine problems and engine also not having good design likely.. Now i become very confused whether i can go for zmr? After hearing this from a authorised service man my mind got very disturbed..pl let me know is this true?

Hope ur reply will be best..
Sorry but just fuming right now on the service centre guy... Bad engine design???? what the heck he means by it. and tell him to show reports of engine failure because of FI TECHNOLOGY.....

I believe its a matter of "Grapes are sour" with the service centre person as he might not be trained enough to deal with FI engines...

      +1

Also, engineers do need to do much on service all been worked on sensors...

      @karthik.ik76

Its just a false information that HM Fi engine has been failed...there is no single complaint in Fi engines...even in HM Galmour too....look at R15 and CBR250...they all going very well...only one bike with Fi has been failed so far...i don't want to name here...everyone knows...

No i am not talking about Apache...

Well one think i have notice in all Fi bikes other than Honda/HM...R15 does't give you a good mileage...aprrox 35...Apache Fi gives very less mileage as compared to carb. apache...even P220 Fi has same story..where as Stunner Fi, Glamour Fi, ZMR they are opposite...why?

                May be i am wrong...

i think u might aware of CRDI and DTI technology which are used in cars.. Honda HECS and yamaha FI tech were already proven one.. Bajaj and TVS companies are new to these technologies and they have to R&D abt ths then they too can give better performance as wel as millege.. Apache FI gives 45kmpl for my frn..

P220 Fi and R15 gives very good FE, not so sure about others. I own an R15 which has clocked over 58K kms through almost every type of terrain. Wrost I got was 34kpl, on straight highway between Ajmer-Chittaurgarh-Udaipur and the best I got was 52kpl, where? Hold your breath........in hills, between Chandigarh-Shimla-Narkanda-Jalori-Manali-Bilaspur-Chandigarh.

Riding in strong winds on highway will throw the ZMR sideways due to full fairing, and ZMA-R will handle better.
Just my thought ..Actual users can give more Factual info..
my bike returns 40kmpl approx but dosent run lean as the spark plug was light brown last time when she got serviced.
ZMR dosent need battery to run its fuel pump. battery is the primary source that is true but it can be pushed start and the pump will get its power from its alternator (thats why it has got bigger watt alternator than karizma). PS: it is not recommended to run the bike without a battery as it may damage the electricals.
yes fairing creates problems in cross winds

BY: siddharth_ZMR--> The ZMR FI technology is a globally tried and tested technology of Honda (Seniors please correct me if i am wrong, read this somewhere).
I have clocked 7000+ kms in 3 months and rode the bike at +100 kmph for kms and found no trouble whatsoever...
There are no engine problems unless adulterated fuel is supplied to it.... FI engine starts coughing... This issue is for every FI bike.
Just ask the Service man that why Hunk is also available with FI if ZMR engine is a failure? or is the FI of Hunk entirely different from ZMR?

are you sure hunk comes with FI, afaik hero's only bike with FI is glamor FI and ZMR.
and yes adulterated fuel creates problem in FI
