The rim tapes are very costly ( actually very very costly ) but I had no other option . Went to many licence plate makers but they refused to do it as i said them no harm should be done to the rims . These rim stripes are of good quality and easy to apply and can be removed easily without damaging the rims . the tank looks empty and has a dent . So to cover it up i was planning to apply chrome flame decals . Touch is bit costlier here and there are are no proper shops for it so there is always a risk .

Ok bro , easy to apply & easy to remove , isn't it mean other person can also remove it when bike parked at some general places
No harm to rim , did you mean the scratches when they use cutter to cut the radium ? If so then ask them to prepare the radium strips first & then apply it to rims as they do for number plates .
But if quality is needed then i think the one you buying online should be good.

For tank scratches , try to get in touch with the 4 wheeler sales guys like as some of 4 wheelers comes damaged & they have their touch up / damage clear section which is a very good place . But personally i don't like those decals . Instead of that the scratches would look good . But finally its upon you

Even i don't like those decals (on tank) but everyday when i see my bike with all those scratches and dent i curse the culprits who are responsible for that . I will never go to these radium / licence plate wala guys . They know how to screw your bike . dropping the idea sticking decal on tank .

        • [QUOTE=Above_All;687099]Fill Tank completely full of petrol , ride around 100 kms , then fill it completely again. Then calculate it yourself .

I also did the same check.
Refilled after 214kms and it took only 3.93litre for full tank, so the mileage is 54kmpl ????

          Total kms clocked is 264.

I strongly believe water has entered into my petrol tank, here its raining.

Also should I change the engine oil now??
          Cheers!!!

              54 kmpl , that's a good mileage
Go to svc & get the water drain pipe checked if the water is entering in tank.
About engine oil change i am not sure but follow owner's manual & change it at first servicing .

You are right, it has turned black and metal chips where also there, I am happy I changed it. No difference in the riding conditions . Used Hero Honda 4T the recommended one, not switching to other brand till 2k.

Also it was a bit tweaky to remove the oil drain nut without dismantling the side covers . Removing the bolt was ok but putting it back was tough.
                Cheers!!!

Metal filings are normal in the 1st oil drain out. It means the engine parts have mated well!

Going for a 600km ride tommorow.. Got a gut feeling that it might hurt the engine as the engine only done 2100kms, Is it ok to take her to this much of Kms?? In what speed I should ride?? Hope the engine running-in is over by now

                            1. Open 6 screws around console and carefully remove those black plastic parts.
                            2. Locate pilot bulbs and pull them from behind. No screws, nothing. Just hold the central plastic portion (you'll know when you touch it) tightly and pull them. Make sure you do it carefully as you may pull the wire out of socket instead.
                            3. Remove the pilot bulbs (also by pulling) and insert your new pilot bulb.
                            4. After fixing the pilot bulbs and before fastening them into socket check if they are working as you may have to change the polarity.
                            5. To remove headlight bulb, first you'll have to remove the wires and rubber seal.
                            6. Then losen the clamp as shown in this pic http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post600257
There will be only one clamp (bottom one) in our case.
                            7. Take out the bulb and put new one in position and clamp it securely.
                            8. Fix rubber seal and wires back to their position.
                            9. Screw those plastic parts back again and you're good to go..

                            • ZMR Issue

Hai Guys , Since from the Date Of purchase of ZMR , Complains Clogs More than Kilo meters ! !

this is not the First Post on complaints , have posted 2, 3 Complaints earlier ! !

My bike is 6 months Old and 5,100Kms done on Odo ,

never Had any accident / crash / fall .

                              issues are

                              1) I suffer Hell Lot of Pain From Right Shoulder even in a small Ride
( doubt on Top Plate / Handle Bar Minor Bends / twist )

                              2) Tuk sound When i Ride over Speed Breakers even at very low speeds .
( service center People Promises the Fork to be Tight ) and No issues on it , The Problem Might Be from Inner Tube bush )

so needs Fork over haul .

                              3) Swing Arm / Stay Noise , the Rear Tyre vibrates like Anything , found the Swing arm / stay Noise while Washing My bike , When i hit the Rear Tyre , I could hear a loud noise like Thad thad !

Hero People told They Have Some special Tool to Check the Problem with the Disk Plate

                              5) noise From Front Wheel when Ridden at 60kmph - i had this issue when i bought My Zmr - now its vanished can be felt some time ,
i head lot of Noise when riding With M45 , now with MRF stock the noise is pretty low !

                              6) valve noise - is common on Karizma Series ( i told to Tighten then )

                              7) i forgot the Other issues , so planning to appoint a P.A for me , so that The ZMR complaints Can be Notted down on Laptop now and then

Handed over My ZMR This Wednesday to Hero People .

they promised me that they will Deliver Back on Monday or Tuesday most probably !

So Guys what Do you Think About The issue ? ? i'm planning to Take A xerox Copy of Service Centre Job Card sheet and Send it To Hero People . so that They may seriously Trust on the issues ! !

the thing is even if i send it They will forward it to The service center .
