Now 1 year later, Would you still suggest me to go for current ZMR or to wait for the new one. I don' really like the new refreshed look- it looks ugly (My opinion).

Is Hero planning on releasing a new range of bikes?
Would you call the current ZMR obsolete/out dated ?
In some angles I feel tat this ZMR is also ugly from stand still and all., but in various other angles it seems hot :P but the new one definitely seems weird., but I love the power figures though....

lil vibes here and there but nice response., having fun cruising on highways

    @Reneav
I assume that the difference would be just the power to weight ratio and overall acceleration there won't be much of a top end... but if they keep the same sprocket setup then may be even if they have a rev limiter after putting the P220 rear sprocket and a wider tyre we could touch 146~ Over gearing does take away some acceleration but then 20bhp 19.7 nm bike would feel like a 18bhp 18 nm stock zmr acceleration while being over geared itself na?

Recently got Michellin Sirac street 2.75 - 18 tyre front tyre for my Karizma.. I would like to say, its simply awesome.. thou the tyre thread pattern looks like offroad, the grip they provide on tarmac and cornering is just superb.. Here are few pics on 10 days old tyre.

And one more important thing I would like to add here.. I was facing wobbling and shaky handle bars with my old MRF tyres and the noise from the front mask.... Its all gone now Never thought that a good tyre will solve so many minor problems.. I am highly satisfied by these tyres.. Gonna change my rear tyres soon, so please suggest me which one I could go for? I searched for sirac street for rear but it wasnt available in the market.

Michelin Sirac and M45 are very good tires. Both of them superb levels of grip and improved braking. I used M45's on my CBZ Xtreme (Both Front and rear, Rear was 4.00x18 ) earlier and after that switched that to Michelin Sirac (Both front and rear). Both of them performed well on Tarmac and corners and Sirac is just too good on off roads and slushy paths. I highly recommend these tires. But being soft compound, don't expect the usable life to be more than 15000 kms

Below are the pics with both M45 and Sirac respectively.

The tire looks good and yup off road tires have better grip than normal regular tires. . . BTW next time you upload some pics, straighen them up before uploading . . .

For the rear, Zapper Q would be a good option but if you want something like dual purpose tires, try out CEAT Vertigo sport, they are known for their all weather tires , also consider MRF Meteor which you get in MRF, that's also a good tire, I'll think about Meteor next time or else Sirac Street for rear has a bad rep, so better stay off it as Divya Sharan will also say the same. . . So better to stick with either MRF or CEAT now which you will get around 2k with tube. . . BTW what's the price of this. . ?

PS: It's "Rakesh Rok" not Rakes_rok or Rakesh rox which Reneav always makes it, so next time type this properly or else I won't get a notification . . .

                    Cheers!!!

Nope Zapper Vyde isn't available for that side, you should either go with 100/90-18 or 120/80-18 if you want Vyde or else you'll get Zapper Q which is a bit of medium rubber and also aids good grip. . .

I had gone wid the intention of installing a 55w osram. But, the mechanic there convinced me to go for 35w Bi-Xenon HID's as it provides better illumination. But, the main thing I'm worried about now is will it void my warranty?
Also, regarding the beam throw. Don't worry abt the throw. Just see the difference in illumination over the stock bulbs which is HUGE.
Also, there are 2 types of quality which u can go for. One is the chinese Xenox company made available for Rs.1200 & the other is the original Philips available for Rs.6,000/-. I went for the Rs.1,200 one. Maybe, the Philips will provide better illumination (I don't know). But, it sells very very less.
                            No damage to the reflector.

yes it will void warranty. and battery will drain... you will never be able to get the same output compared to a bulb, quite obivious he wanted to sell u 1200 stuff rather than the bulb... i feel osram night breaker is sufficient and i have persoanlly used with a proper bosch relay has not battery effect

There is a proper relay system though for increasing the voltage included with the package. I enquired about the 55w's. The store guy only said that nowadays everyone installs hid's & projectors. Vry feww people go for 55w bulbs. & he said it is not for ZMR. Only CBR 250 can take a 55w bulb as it consumes more power. Ya, but I know dats not right. So, I decided to change my decision & go for the hid, as going for projector would mean cutting the entire headlight casing.
