Well.. If I had smoked the entire headlight.. It wouldn't have looked different from the other ZMRs and people wouldn't have noticed to ask me why I didn't smoke the entire reflector just as you asked

also I wanted the parking light to be bright as well.. hence I didn't smoke it

        Hi Guys!

Almost 1 year back I had posted in this thread about purchasing the ZMR, Reneav, worrisomebear, abhi and many others gave me many reasons to go for the ZMR. I also remember Raja Saiyan- who had just booked his ZMR at that time- looking to hear from you.

Now 1 year later, Would you still suggest me to go for current ZMR or to wait for the new one. I don' really like the new refreshed look- it looks ugly (My opinion).

Is Hero planning on releasing a new range of bikes?
Would you call the current ZMR obsolete/out dated ?

We can't comment on the new ZMR without seeing it in flesh mate.. The New ZMR is going to be good in terms of performance as compared to the current models..

if you ask me.. I would go to the dealers and ask them whether the old models will be on sales along with the new modes and if you like the current model.. go ahead and book it as i doubt they will sell it along with the new ones..

but if you don't mind waiting to see the bike in flesh.. then I would wait

Thank you snehit bhai for being there today!! Without you I would never have got the job done.
@all- Had gone to jc road along with snehit and on the way, the clutch cable broke. So got that changed and went to install the projector.
Now problem is the beam is totally out of focus. Beam spread is pathetic. I tried pushing the bulb in and the intensity increased a bit but again after some time it got reduced. Solutions?

                    No issues bro

About the bulb... remove the plastics around speedo, and check if there is any play between bulb and projector socket. If any, push the bulb all the way in. Now you will notice a tiny metal clip/harnesses near projector socket. Use a flat screwdriver and move it over the bulb to lock it in place. This should help else I doubt anything else shall

that's the tricky thing I had warned you about motocross. The guy can be a real rat b@$t@rd when it comes to replacements. Even if you attempt this I would suggest you go a little later (read as darker) as the guy would try convincing you that this is the right size bulb, show him the uneven beam and if he offers to set it right, let him

P.S if nothing elseworks, meet me anytime after Monday and I shall do some jugaad
