These are the best figures I have got till date, keeping in mind the aggressive riding
Holy shit!! Thats a nice one!
And bro I posted the pic of beam throw few pages back. Intensity is max cause the bulb is fully inside. But still beam area is narrow. Any ways of improving?

        1. Every cold start, let the engine idle for a minute.. (not only during run in but always)

        2. Dont go beyond 4000 Rpm and dont gove wide opem throttle..

        3. Run in period is usually 1000kms but i did a run in period of 1500kms..

Ride safe and fly low all the best

        Thank you Reneav!
        Noted all the points.

        Noticed this small niggle:

        1. Even though the bike is in Neutral, the "N" light doesn't glow- glows after a few seconds.- Is this a problem or natural.

Happens. Its common. Give the gear lever a slight push.

saw the pics... if its the width that you are concerned, I am afraid that there is nothing that can be done about it, as for the length I got some idea however before I suggest it I'll try it on my own set and let you know if it works

Width will improve if length improves. Cause then I can lower the height of the beam which improves intensity of the spread.

I wonder if MRF have other tires (130, 140) which can fit in the Karizma w/o cutting the chain cover. Btw, bought a disc lock today for Rs.200/-. Rampant bike theft going on nowadays in my locality courtesy. Recently, 2 pulsars wer taken just before diwali from the parking lot of a gym near my house.

1st of all, congrats for ur new bike. Did u buy a Karizma ZMR? I thot u wer saying that u'll buy a 60k bike.

1). Me also a noob biker. Drive safe. Bought my ZMR on August 30th, 2013. Had a contact with a bus(IOCL). Be careful of bus & trucks.
2). Gear-shifts will be clunky now. These will become butter smooth after 1st service. Had my 1st service in October end.
3). Now, I'm completely comfortable wid the bike. No probs at all. Dropped the bike twice (till now) in the 1st 2 weeks itself. After that no incidents till now. Though I'm extremely gud on the bicycle. Been riding since class kg/nursery.
4). Regarding the neutral, give a slight push to the gear shifter while shifting from 2nd to 1st.-->

Hope these words will be helpful to u. & wishing u many miles on the bike. Do post some pics.

                        1. Yes, bought a new bike.
                        2. Sure, will look out for buses and trucks
                        3. Yes, the gears are clunky as you rightly mentioned. Hope it gets smooth after first service.
                        4. Great to know that you are comfortable with the bike now, I still have to get used to the size and weight.
                        5. I am able to get it into neutral, the problem seems to be in the neutral sensor. Sometimes it glows sometimes it doesnt. Any idea why?

Thank you. Your words were helpful and assuring as well

He doesn't know about all this stuff.. lol..

Yes.. any little change to the recommended settings are to void warranty.. but thats stupid.. you know.. they will say anything to avoid loss for them..

Guys.. another unfortunate incident for me.. met with yet another freaking accident.. the fairing finally gave up in the crash.. stupid rickshaw wala came out of nowhere and a collision..

As usual nothing happened to me thanks to the safety gears i am used to wearing.. gloves and helmet.. had a hard hit on the left side of my head and thanks to the helmet i didnt get any impact (touchwood).. didnt click any pic of my Black Pearl as i was completely out of mood..

As far as i noticed.. the headlight assembly, fairing assembly, left foot feg, left handle bar weight, front fender, fork bend (maybe alloy wheel as well), bent gear lever, the front number plate bent and it fell off the bike as the fairing broke off.. left indicator..

No fault on my side.. this rickshaw guy just came out of nowhere.. that too in the wrong way trying to cross the road..

Damn it.. i am taking leave tomo to check the availability of spare parts and get them.. planning to fix my Black Pearl myself and then take it for the fork bend/alloy bend..

Not gonna touch her this month till i get prayers done by mom to remove whatever the evil is haunting me and my Black Pearl.. i will try to click pics today..

I just cleaned her yesterday early morning..

Having a good rapport with SVC folk, especially the mech working on the bike helps.

Now I don't believe you. Reading the amount of damage that happened, what speeds do you maintain within city limits?

As usual nothing happened to me thanks to the safety gears i am used to wearing.. gloves and helmet..
Get a new helmet as well. Doesn't matter if the old one LOOKS fine. Get a newly helmet + a leather jacket too.

As they say for cars; the most dangerous component on the carnut behind the steering wheel.
No evil haunts anyone. Practice some patience on our roads and you should be fine. Save that adrenaline for the open stretches on the highway!

                                Take care.
                                Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
