I would say, stick to 110/80-18 or 100/90-18. Don't go beyond that if you don't want to sacrifice anything.

What about 110/80-18...do we need to remove chain guard for this size too?Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View PostI am using Sirac its 120/80-18. I have removed the chain case. But beware, with a heavy pillion the tyre will rub the sides of swing arm.

Does that happen only when riding with a pillion or riding solo as well ? Will the same happen with a tyre of any other brand but of the same size 120/80-18 ?Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View PostI am using Sirac its 120/80-18. I have removed the chain case. Also, is Sirac a straight fit once the chain case is removed or have you done any alterations to fit that tyre? Any other negatives in terms of performance that I should be aware of? Too many questions but I want to be very sure on these aspects before going ahead with the tyre change.Yamaha RX 135 (2001-2003)

Karizma ZMR has 6Ah battery unlike the ZMA which has 7Ah so give or take 1Ah battery will suffice the need.Either you can go for 6Ah battery or else 5Ah amaron battery.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View Post9Ah wont fit in and there is no 7Ah model,5Ah will suit in the cage, but does not have enough juice to power ZMR.

I guess it will be the same with all tyres of that size but not sure. With solo riding I ve never any issue till date. Its a straight fit. In terms of performance, you will feel the acceleration is reduced negligibly as the tyre profile is more.Originally posted by Sp!tfire View PostDoes that happen only when riding with a pillion or riding solo as well ? + 1Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostIts better to have a same Ah battery mentioned in specification for ZMR/ZMA...or higher (if fit...in battery case)...
ZMR doesn't really need a higher capacity battery as the stock 6aH is more than sufficient to take care of all your needs. I am using a dual tube HID (35 X 2 = 70w HID) and never faced any issues till date (touchwood). Its alternator is powerful enough!!

It is located within the encricled area, on the bottom side. All the wise men of the world are called wise only after they spoke their mind, so dont keep the ideas to yourselves!

It is normal ,and exhaust gases will come through the hole at the lower end of silencer...If you stop over a dust area you can see dust being blown away....nothing to worry.Common to ZMA,ZMA-R and ZMROriginally posted by rakesh_zmr View PostGuys anybody got a chance to look wether the exhaust gases leak from the drain hole of the silencer also..
