You need not change the engine oil every 1000 kms, unless you are using in Racing circuit, 3000 kms should be fine.

Thanks for the reply..is engine noise and body vibration is common for new bikes? i know gear shift will get smooth in time but engine sound and body vibataion i dont think so..actually i have maintained the break and i am using shell super unleaded petrol all the time..

i dont know sound increasing is because of my driving style? also i dont rash much..the only thing is body vibration especially above 55 km speed..i hope somebody have this problem and resolved in time..

my Karizma(Rear) sticker is peeling off, what should i do?
Because i believe someone faced the same issue and his part was replaced.

they are saying that they'll fix it with some adhesive..!!

The rattling sound of the bike in high rpm is common, I have the same issue, I'll look for proper fitting or bushing for the faring.

Breakin period is limiting your top speed from 40-60-80-100kmph from the first 100km-500km-1000km-2000-5000kms, If you can sacrifice your first few days, trust me the engine keep you happy even if you abuse it later.

You also have to keep the engine idle for 2 mins every day at start in the morning.

Note that, these practice is based on my personal experience, It could vary from one manufacturer to manufacturer.

Service Book is Missing

My service book is missing, still 4 free service to go. Applying for a duplicate seems to be more costly and time consuming than having the rest as paid service(this is the suggestion I got from the service manager).

Any thoughts regarding this?

Re-stick it with a good gum... then paint the complete tail with 'clear'(I dont know what you call it there)... No more peeling off....
To know what a clear is... observe a Karizma R's tank stickers and tail assembly stickers.. We can peel the tail stickers with our nail, but not the 'R' on the tank.. They have used the 'clear' on the tank . Use the same thing on ZMR's tail and everything is perfect...

Replacing the tail with a new one wont solve your probs, it will still peel off again... Try what i said ...

Thank you.i thought its happened because of my driving style.how about body vibration? while driving around 70-80km i feel the vibration more in footer.i am gonna change the engine oil soon and lets see if things get better

Hey hi guys,

Just changed my engine oil after approx 3200 kms
the oil i used was Honda 10w30 Fully synthetic.

the performance of oil i cant say outstanding, but it is good, the gear shifting is smooth till 2000 kms, after that they becomes a little rough, check out of the level of oil, you may need to top up it.

Hi..i am also planning to changes the oil and i am going ti use "Shell Advance Ultra 10w40 Fully synthetic". Is body vibration is reduced after changing the oil?

No body vibration will not reduced, yeah but if ur engine will be cool and gear shifting will be very good. i have used Shell advance Ultra 10w40, i will rate it on the top of list from the engine oils that i have used, though i have used two oils other than stock one.

Thanks. Do i need to clean up the stock engine oil before change it..how to clear up the stock engine oil?

shell advance ultra 10w40 is an excellent oil. no need to clean engine just drain out old oil completely and fill new oil 1100ml and feel d difference.

Yes if you have projector & those bulbs . But you need to broke the headlight reflector assembly to get the projector inside it & then restick it . With care that no dirt is gonna enter in it.

For body vibration & engine noise get your bike checked in ASC , get the fairing refitted properly . my bike got some engine noise , they checked & found camshaft & rocker are warn out unevenly , changed it , now no noise .

I would suggest you to get a new service book from them , if they are quoting too much price then source a blank service book / owners manual from another HH/HM showroom & get it filled from them . Cause the service book also contains a battery warrenty card in it . & useful information with service cupons & things to be changed after certain km .

ZMR Paid service @14400Kms

I was looking for a good service center, since I did not get any response, I ended up googling around, most of them filled with negative feedbacks, and then I was hunting for the least worst of them, LOL all in vain.

So I made up my mind and got prepared for a bad experience and finally went to the closest service center, Nidhi Motors in Hosur Road Bangalore, which is just about 3kms from my residence. Yesterday left my bike with a heavy heart, expecting around 2k+ bill, I did not believe that the Hero motors people estimated only 1k they said they will call if they'll replace anything, anyway lets hope for the worst, told them will take the delivery today.

I called them twice about the status and my final bill; they said that they have messaged me which I never got. So today around 11 AM I took a 3km walk in the bright sun, reached the Service center,
First time when I started, I felt like Brand new taken out from showroom.

To my surprise the bill was only 724 bucks!! What was included in this service?

>Engine oil change.
>Chain wash and Lubrication.
>Hid Headlight Repair.
>Horn Repair.
>Changed Clutch Lever
>Accelerator Cable fix
>break foot rubber.
>few nuts and bolts changed for the Faring noise.
>washing and normal polishing

To sum it up, Guys doing good job but their volume of customer is too high. I saw only one zma and zmr in the servicing and 99.9% are the rest of the models. The area is also dusty hence I found lots of sand particles in the Chain oil

I think I can live with this.

HM ASC guys repaired HID & horns

Normally i seen them saying "No sir we can't touch anything that is is not stock , & for stock horn they ask to replace it . I think they have just adjusted its sound instead of opening & cleaning point . " I think you should stick to this ASC as the guys done a good job & you feel the bike brand new .
