    • Saturday changed Front and Rear Disc pads....cost Rs. 991 and 906 respectively after 5% discount through a GoodLife card....

Also, vibration problem solved; now can feel a low engine noise...most of the sound was coming from front fairing...

No parts only the fender rubber was missing...they just put those rubbers...and re-setup the fairing...and lower fairing has a crack from the bolt hole...crack was fixed by applying ELFY...

Now lot of noise has been resolved...but some engine noise is there...

Official work kept me busy for few months
I have few queries on my ZMR which is driven around 11,000 kms

                      1. What is the average life of chain & sprocket (Original one that comes along with the bike) - I reside in an area where I have to ride in muddy conditions often.

                      2. My ZMR started to show some rusty signs yesterday.. I wasn't able to switch to 1st gear from neutral properly & it is switching only when I apply some force

Kindly provide your valuable feedback on the same.
                      Dear Xbhpians,

Kindly help me answering my queries...

Without chain cover 18k kms(My experience, in my way of riding). With chain cover it might be more. (Much depends on way your riding.

Oil change due ? I can't say more on gear shift problem unless i see it

1). The Average life of Chain and Sprocket is around 20000 kms, get check it with SVC guy or ur trusted mechanic, and if needed get it change.

2). Spray WD 40 on the rusty nut and bolts. check out the engine oil, if it is a time to change the engine oil change it, if you are using stock engine oil change it at the interval of 1000-1200 kms.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

                            • My stock battery is gone, i need to change it, went to exide outlet, the person told exide dosent have dry battery in 7Ah, instead of they will install normal battery, i want dry one, so i went to Amaron dealer, he said they dont have dry battery in 7 AH, they have in 5Ah or in 9Ah, now confused which one to install in my ZMR, 60% chances are towards 9Ah, but need some modifications to be done to get it fitted. so any suggestions?
