I changed Engine oil of my bike from HH oil to this one

engine became very smooth even at high speed ..but didn't get an opportunity to test it much as i had a fall while coming back to my home after servicing my bike..luckily as always i was wearing riding gears so i got saved from very major injuries only got one bruise on pelvic which isn't a worry for me cuz its not that big as it could be..right side fairing of my bike got scratched guys tell me a solution to make it look "ok" for sometime, as i might change it after couple of months or so till then will rubbing do the job..i know it won't look like an unscratched part at all but will rubbing make it better for some time at least? also silencer muffler got scratched badly which i'll replace along with fairing after few weeks

Those SMD led are really sexy & costly too. I got the 9 in one in 150 rupees but it dont have lights on side so reflector can come in picture.
55 w hid looks brighter than the 35 w . Isn't it ?

That oil is good i use it in my other HH bike so far no problem i rev it hard.
Scratches are looking bad , if the colour is removed then go for a touch up & replace the sticker which will save money . & if colour is not removed then try rubbing it , best way to get a good smooth cloth & spray some petrol on it & rub it on to scratches. But i think the colour is removed .

Yes but you need to make some adjustments some modding , though i haven't seen it . Check some good garage near you . But the main issue is to getting the ZMR fairing. BTW where you live ? Cause in big cities it will available .

Thanks for the sharing details. I have 5 SMD wedge light bought from US. To be frank the intensity of the light did not put a smile on my face except the color (tinge blue).

FYI.. I came across Philips T10 LED wedge bulbs with color temperature from 4000k. Heard these bulbs are expensive and available in Mumbai in selected dealers. I have inquired in my city but in vain.

Alternatively, these bulbs are sold in UK (ebay.co.uk).

Sorry to know of your spill..good thing you were wearing the protection...The fairing has a brownish tinge scratch which is from the grime from road...for removing this use the standard Rubbing Compound and remove it..the sratch will remain, but will be whitish not brownish...If you are good at doing patch work you can get the FEVITITE RAPID epoxy which sets in about 15 minutes, and apply it on the cleaned scratch areas.after it had dried in about an hour use 'O' emery and gently smoothen it out...Then you can touch it up with matching paint and may be replace the sticker, and it will look as good as new.

Today i inquired about other engine oil of 20w40...Shell Advance is available here in our local shop...at Rs. 180..MRP is Rs. 205.for 900ml..

What you all say..should i buy and change...also i assume need to buy 2cans...as ZMR engine oil capacity is more than 900 ml...

If you are switching away from HH oil, why not go for SS or FS oil??

Why do you want to shellout so much on replacing the entire fairing? A simple solution will be :
Get a 200 grit sand paper, rub off the scratches, Remove those decals, cover the remaining part of the fairing and the bike, Get some Lappam (dunno what you guys call it in your state but in hyderabad its called lappem and is used by most of the denting guys to level out surfaces. greyish, brownish material) and level out the area which you cleared the scratches. Get a bosny or any other primer and paint spray can which matches your bike's color and spray a couple of layers of primer followed by multiple THIN layers of paint over the scratched area. Give atleast 10-20 mins of gap between applying each layer. 4-5 layers will be more than enough.

Remember : Always start spraying the paint from outside the patch.

This entire process might look big but it will set you back by some 300-400 rs max! After the paint is done, get those ZMR decals and you'll have a scratchless fairing.

If you think you cant do it, take it to your nearest denting shop and they'll do the needfull under 1000 bucks. This job isnt a big deal for them.
