HH suspensions are the best suited ones for indian road conditions(half tarmac half dirt) its not that all monoshocks are better than conventional ones ; also the engine is oil cooled not air cooled ; what else its just the ABS missing ; IMO its better pick than the upcoming CB250R for such a price

colored ones looks good..well i think this is not a upgrade...its just minor things keep updating on the models...

I still doubt the authencity of the pic showing white grabrails.
The bike looks more of an individual parked in some service centre with plastic covered possibly because those might be new parts of the bike. Again I m just assuming.
Is HH just updating the color of grabrails to update new ZMR? I dont think so.
Just to add I still find our dark Greyish grabrails more smarter.
Lets wait and watch I think ZMR deserves a better upgrade or update surely...

I too hope so..some better upgrades...and i thing after feedback meetings for ZMR conducted by HH...they should upgrade it accordingly...

Nope I dont agree that it is completely perfect.
There is a lot scope of improvement. They can do a lot more to this bike than just changing the grab rails.
Make the bike more slicker, increase power and capacity of the bike, and many more points which can be made

+1 , Possible changes or upgrade from my end what i feel ZMR should have

1). An Increase in power of atleast 24 to 25 bhp
2). Make it lighter by some kgs
3). ABS.
4). Projector Headlamps with 55/ 60 Watts
5). Broader tires.

No its not something which can be called as "2011 ZMR" OR 2011 upgrade
I bought the ZMR manufactured in Jan 2011 and it has the same dark grey grabrails. 2011 ZMRs are no different that the prior ones.
I dont believe this white thing to be a genuine HH deed.

well they look good and my opinion is that white mirror wud look good too

hero honda engine oil sucks. my bike's engine has vibration(@65kmph in 5th gear) and noise from tappets and timing chain. the fairing is also making noise on bad roads. chain is getting loose. what to do????

yes along with ABS, at least 21 BHP power and fatter rear tyre.

How many free servicing you are done? go to good service centre, tell your all the issues to them, and see what they say..tell them to clean the chain properly with diesel, and tighten it, check out fairing whether some nuts bolts are loose? ask SVC guy to check for tappets setting and timing chain.

How do you conclude that this is b'cos of HH oil ? Last year I experienced some noise and vibration on my Xtreme....later I came to know that while a guy took out his bike he fell my bike by accident. I had taken the bike to svc centre thrice and finally few bolts holding the leg-guard were tightened and everything disappeared.

See the issue from different perspective ?! Check for some lossened nuts/bolts, however tightening requires skill if it's plastic-metal combination the tightening should be careful, if it's metal it should be 'hand-tight' if it's large sized bolts it should be 'pre-set torque wrench'. Bolts n nuts matter big no matter what bike you ride ?

BTW, go to only HH ASS, else you'll spoil it further, good luck

only 1 free service has been done and all the problems of rattling sound is after that. sun motors spoiled my bike

. today went to another SVC the zmr technician called me day after tomm to inspect the bike.

they lube the chain on my first service which was at 550kms with spoiled Mobil

and now after running the bike another 500kms the mobil got sprayed out and the chain is dry.
i said there is a slight rattling from the fairing so they pasted a dual sided tape below the meter console and said now it will not rattle

.
there is also vibration in the bike when im riding @ 65kmph in 5th gear.

im not concluding this bcoz of HH oil im just saying this bcoz it sucks.
