i will calculate the average once i took her here to lko.

PS: going home today to see her.

in my case , i always keep petrol above half tank, so when petrol gauge indicate half tank i will fill up petrol .

so like the same you follow up according to your pocket . or fill up when the gauge indicate 2 or 3 bar ! its safe

            • Hey guys, sorry to bump into this thread, but i wanted to ask which oil is the best for ZMR ??

a friend of mine completed 500 kms today itself, we are going for 1st service tomorrow in the morning, should we carry oil with us, as i feel HH oil won't be that good ?

The bike seems to be heating a lot, any more suggestions for us, to inspect during the FIRST service ??
Giving a lot to a fiero.
Expecting a lot from a fiero.

Use HH oil for warranty purposes. Also HH stock oil from idemitsu is best mineral oil for karizma.

Lets wait for experts to advice.

                • 15W40 would be good for ZMR. Its fully synthetic and available in castrol. Even 5W40 would do, Shell Helix is available for Rs. 1100/-

when the last bar start blinking then refill your bike as soon as possible.

                      • Suggestion for new bike...

hi guys...this is my first post..have been following this thread for long but now finally joined and thought of taking suggestion for new bike..since most knowledgeable guys are here!!...i am using HH passion for last 5yrs..

i researched a lot about all bikes and my details, requirement, research summary is as follows:

                        1. i am 75kgs n 6ft tall.
                        2. i want mileage of 45kmpl(or above).
                        3. i want a bike for long term period, dont want to change it for years once bought.
                        4. i should not get back pains due to bike riding posture.
                        5. i want a minimum 150cc bike..n max 225cc....so zeroed onto pulsar,cbz,hunk,zma n zmr.
                        6. i go daily to my office and come back, total run of approx 50kms daily in less traffic roads...weekend tours are always welcome.

with no offences to anyone n i am sorry if i am wrong ;after talking to friends, bike users, svc guys, sales people this is what i have found out:

Bajaj-pulsar life is 2years after that i will make you cry since body starts vibrate and mileage goes down each day.

Yamaha-i liked but the issue is low mileage and rear seat is too short...its more suited for a ride without pillon rider...the height is also less for people like me.

Hero Honda-did not liked the front portion of CBZ extreme
did not like hunk since it doesnot look heavy at all
karizma zma's milegae is less in compariosn to zmr's and in long run,zmr will be more economical than zma..also did not liked d "R" on fuel tank..
zmr in black is what i liked finally ...since i dont want to run at speeds of over 80+..will drive mostly at 50-60,so expecting mileage of 45 or above..
ruled out white color in zmr because it catches unnecessary attention and one cannot avoid scratches and in rainy season,it will be tough job to keep it clean always.

so guys need to know if my analysis is wrong, correct me too n suggest if talking zmr will be a good decision for me or not...or suggest new bike altogther..thanks in advance..

you have options like ZMR, ZMA(won't give you 40+ mileage), Hunk, Dazzler, Unicorn,P220/220S/180

as you mentioned that you like ZMR among these bikes so i would suggest you to go for it as it will be one of the best option available for you..

                          • Saturday had a fight with my SVC...problem was apprx. two months back i went to SVC for the engine sound and air loose in rear tyre...the manager himself check it and found that tapped was loose...For tuning tapped they need to open full fairing. it will take time. as they were closing in 2 hours so he suggest to bring it another day or mention it in next service.

After that i stop riding my ZMR due to winters. Last month on 15th Jan i went to SVC for 6th last free servicing...mention the problem of tapped and other things...bring back home. At that time could not notice a tapped noise may be because ZMR engine was cold at that time and svc is approx 4 km so engine may not heat up properly as if tapped are loose noise become more as engine get more heat...

Now i have start ridding my ZMR again..from last 1 week...found the same problem again...went to SVC on Saturday, ask supervisor to fix the problem as it was mentioned in service and was not done and earlier too i had come for this problem but was not rectified...he said you have come late (4 PM)...will not do...i shout over them...lot of argument between me and supervisor...went downstairs to talk with Manager; (same person who inspect earlier) he was not available due to meeting. In absence another manager was there i meet him and mention the problem and about the behavior of supervisor.

He see my ZMR but not review the problem and start making excuses for this can't be done right now...bring another day...I listen to him and simply said that this is my last service with them....will never come to your SVC again...and will give feedback to HH too ...the manger was stopping me "sir ruko to sahi...ek minute baat karo..." .....and i come back...

After 10 minutes manger call come to me; sir app aaye the..naraj ho gaye...mein tha nahin..aapko mujhe batana chaiye tha...app hamare purane customer ho...( i have been going to them for servicing from last 10 years for by earlier bike Splendor and Passion)" blah blah....

offer me to come tomorrow and will surely fix the problem...any time...i had reject his offer...

and i am thinking to send an email to HH...what you all say?

Also, any good SVC where i can rectify my problem
