when you mentioned you had problems moving it or bending it like before... check the wheels , discs, something might be causing the friction

@ Raja Thanks explaining "Over Gearing" in detail. It was very informative, I have actually noted your and Reneavs post in a notepad so that I can refer it in the future

No issues found bro. Actually nothing happens when am doing <40. Its above approx 40kmph that I find the bike hard to bend in a turn or to shift lanes. The bike resists.

I kinda have a feeling that your instincts are playing a game here.. its just your thoughts probably.. did you recently change something?? did you apply grease/oil wherever required after the wash?

Am pretty sure its after the wash and because of the wash. The bike started on the next try. On the way home I noticed a drastic change in handling. The bike used to deflect right or left without much effort. But now I hav to put force to make it bend. And I fet the feeling of falling too when I do.

These two problems have been bugging me. Today too the bike refused to start in the first attempt. But started on the second one. I switched off ignition and turned it on and again it refused to start on the first trial but started on the second one. Had faced a similar issue but that was due to the relay being faulty. But this one?? There's no sound on pressing the self start. Just silence. No dimming of lights also. (cause in normal start we observe the slight dimming effect as battery gets discharged).

Please help me in these two issues of starting and handling guys..

You pressure washed the bike .. before washing it the handling was easy and now you feel it kind of hard to turn and even to change lanes on the road ?

I think the answer is quite simple the bearings in the handlebar contain some kind of grease/lubrication don't they? while washing the water jet must have some how gotten concentrated on the bearing area and it could be causing you to feel so . . . try lubricating it again

That is possible.. but i am not sure if that is the problem.. it could be the cone set that needs replacement too..

I thought he mentioned that he is having this problem after taking it from the wash .. so better try lubricating them before replacing it entirely na?

Yup.. thats what i mentioned.. asked him if he applied grease/oil.. the next suggestion would be to check whether xone set was replaced and how old the bike is to suggest on replacement

if you say that cone set needs replacement, then you better get that replaced and it should work fine. thats exactly why i asked has the bike ever fallen?

Understood that but possible that the bearings got rusted too which might need the replacement when i got the cone set replaced on my Black Pearl.. I found the bearings were rusted.. horrible sight to be at seeing something you have been taking care of to the core with rusts

the bearings are normally greased from factory as well , but if its constantly exposed to water, rains , climatic conditions, sea winds they can rust faster....

Yeah.. which is what I feel would have happened in case of abhi here.. anyways.. lets see what he has to say about it because that is the only reason why the handling could get hard..
