      Yes acceleration does have some boost with snorkel removed.. to be specific, the drag is 'effortless' with more air intake..

      on a side note, though i am loving the new sound, but I think am somewhere missing the smooth sound of ZMR too.. ZMR with this kind of a sound gives me a feeling of a sweet Madhuri Dixit acting a tough cop & kicking butts..

            All of you are too kind with your words of appreciation...hope i become eligible for it sometime.....I guess I have this trait for some time, since in my capacity as a Techno Commercial person I had traveled throughout Tamilnadu in the late 70's and early 80's,to teach Electronic Association members of different cities on the emerging trends in Electronics..esp., TV...can't believe I could do something useful like that....

            Then you should definitely try the Zen MPFi air filter mod.....you can have the snorkel with muted sound, and good acceleration.....

                          Rear seems to be upward position...like CBR 250.....no monoshocks...fairing completely changed..loot at front number plate holder/holding.....rear tyre seems to be 120....

                              The mirrors seem to be the same as that of the ZMR.. no mono shocks beefy silencer as always.. fairing looks a bit sharp.. boy oh boy.. this is exciting me.. the same time in 2009, the Spy pics and videos of ZMR was released and they launched it in September.. Hoping to see this beast in flesh soon.. though I am worried it won't be to my expectations.. if not.. i am going for the Duke or will wait for the RC390 from Duke

                                It seems new bike shall share most of the parts i.e handle, shocks, disc brakes, front fender,foot pegs and others parts from the existing ZMR...to keep the cost in check....
