I was viewing both the old and the new launch video, and clicked on the wrong one to share and it got posted here...hence deleted the post, but at that time the Xbhp became inaccessible and my browser froze..and crashed..guess BSNL is doing it's best for the clients...
From what I had heard, there is a 250cc and later a higher cc bike both are slated for release this year..the 250cc during Diwali, and the bigger one release date unknown...

Wow, I have set a target for Dec 2014 or Jan 2015 when I'd have saved enough for a supersports. Lets see if HMC brings something lust worthy.

Sir.. from the video.. i kinda have a feel they both are 2 different variants.. the one in front at the end of the video seems to have dual headlamps and the one behind seems to be like the buell's headlamp.. more like the one from hyosung.. just my guess.. also the one in front seems like it has got a lower 2 piece handlebar while the one behind seems like its got a higher handle bar like that of the zmr.. both same engines maybe

New bikes keep coming in the market. If you liked zma and booked it then no problem. The new bike will still take almost 4-5 months or more to come on road.

its the way they are sitting... but the handle bar is shorter than the ZMRs looks like it will be a little bit sportier.. more like the CBR

By the way.. is it only to my eyes or in the below pic, the bike coming behind looks a bit different... in the sense, the fairing looks less wider than the bike in front.. maybe the angle of the video is like that.. but I kinda have a feeling they are gonna bring in 2 different bikes
Yes, seating looks sporty and so the handle bar position....

Also, if tyre size is same as ZMR then i think bike frame/swingarm will be same of ZMR...and if there is change in tyre then swing arm must be new one....hope HM get a more advance frame on the bike however; ZMR frame is very good...

The tires appear broader than the ZMR/ZMA-R.. but with the size of the bike.. I am assuming the chassis has been cut smaller.. if not its gotta be the ZMR/ZMA-R chassis to cut the cost.. i am only concerned about the rear shocks why don't they improve the technology.. since its not a mono shocks.. I am sure they are using the already available chassis which cuts down the RnD expenses as well to an extent..

Now if what I am assuming about 2 different variants being launched.. I will go for the one with the dual headlamps (provided I fall in love with the bike at first go) else Duke 390 it is for me..

I just hope they don't name it ZMR-R lol..

Yes HM should have introduce monshocks in new bike..."Impulse" have a mono shocks then why Karizma series cannot have it?.......otherwise all whatever has been seen in spied video/image seems to be good....

I am from Mumbai, have completed 18000km on my Zmr
1)Wanted to know do I need to Change the Tyre (though they are not worn out and looks good to me) if yes then which Michelin make would be the best ones and where will i get it
2)Should I change the Filters if yes can I replace with a K&N and where can I get It
3)Do i need to change the Spark plug (though I can start the bike at half self even after 5 days of no use)
                          4) I am using Motul Oil 1040 a local mec suggested that I can use Honda will that he fine if I switch it to 1030
5)Chain has started making a bit noise will replace it if suggested after seniors suggestions will that affect performance ? (though I have started liking the sound

First of all, welcome to xbhp bro. This thread is where most ZMRians spend their time talking trash.

                            1. Depends upon your perception. If it doesn't skid or slip, why bother? Don't fix that ain't wrong goes the saying.
                            2. Avoid K&N. Reasons against it are plenty. In short, it kills the engine sooner. Replace OE filter every 10k kms and clean it at least twice in the mean time.
                            3. Its better to change the plug every 12k kms and use the older one as spare. Sparks weaken with time.
                            4. xxW30 or xxW40, this bike can gulp both grades. Use 10/15/20w40 for better overall performance.
                            Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

The upcoming bike from HMC to be launched Oct-Nov 2013 will most probably feature a twin-cylinder engine, broader rear tyre, and a functional (practical) fairing. I got this info about 10 days ago, but wasn't too sure of the source. Now that the spy pics have come up, we may as well assume the rest to be true.

As for my ZMR, I am yet to get a reply from HMC for the piston-slap issue. Guess they are too busy!! I have decided to wait for the reply (for 1 week) and then approach the ASC. Not a very happy experience meanwhile!
