Seems like I'd be changing both tires soon for my bike. 7 wheel locks in 2 days upon braking is getting on my nerves. Only saving grace, I didn't fall.

Looking for MRF Zapper FQ for front (same make as R15's, but in 18 inches) - thanks @ravi@17bhp for this and MRF Zapper Q (110/90-18 TL) or MTR (100/90-18 TT)for the rear.

also if by any chance you do most of the times, stop applying front brake only.. you never know when you would lock it even by mistake or by absence of mind.. the locking is actually more at lower speeds..

If your comfortable with tt for the rear then I would like to suggest mrf mtr too, excellent on and off road grip, and kinda looks good too

I managed locking front 4 times and rear thrice.

(I use both brakes)

Sorry my bad! I meant MRF MTR only, dunno how I ended up typing Metro.

Also where do you plan to buy them from. Might I suggest getting them from one of changemytyre centres as they have a decent discount and also a two year unconditional replacement plan

changemytyre has only the rear tire. Zapper FQ isn't available with them. I will contact them and wait for a week to 15 days max, in case they get the stock it'd be awesome. Else JC road ki jai!

but i guess u apply the front brake a lil too hard by habit.. locking is kinda difficult with rear brake..

I returned back from office after 10:30 PM. ODO reading was 33325 kms. I always wanted to click 33333, hence I was careful. Then I saw the time as well and hence this idea came to mind. I rode till 33333 came up and waited ~15 min for the pic.

Regarding tires, PSD is superb, but being a tourer I can't keep changing tires every year. Hence a hard compound this time.
And ya, who managed to shoot you? I wanna meet that gr8 person.

and I am a bit excited.. but my bike is more than 3.5 years old and I have completed only 27920 till now

but she managed to bring me back to life..

Just Kidding.. I was planning for a weekend ride to Rohtang pass.. we were suppose to leave yesterday evening towards Manali.. but my dumb ass friend as usual ditched me and my other friend..

we were gonna kick his behind.. but luckily he was able to convince us saying he will sponsor for fuel for the ride to South in December.. so I revived back to life

Yeah.. we have all thos options but the problem is they usually dont have them in stock.. i guess i will stick to the Michelin for now.. as of now the grip is better than when they were new.. completedore than 3000kms with them.. lets see..
