No I am planing to buy a separate one for long rides and old one for day to day use to office and others..
I have heard and found Vega helmets (used one long time back) to be super light weight.. Here is one of them, can you please comments your opinion on this.
BOOLEAN DEVIL WHITE BASE WITH SILVER GRAPHIC HELMET

    Thanks in advance.
Its kind of dragging a bit. Ok, let me explain it this way:

    1. Who gave you the guarantee that you won't fall in the 26 km commute to and from office?
    2. Why a full face for touring and a modular helmet for city?
    3. Remember, you can still ride safe at good speeds, its the idiots who ride dangerously at lower speeds are the real threats! People cutting across in traffic. You don't get many of these on the highway.

Want to get a Vega, get the AXOR. Its DOT certified too.
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

I am getting confused now.. What is the difference between modular helmet and full mask helmet... I guess Biefee was a full mask helmet with the chin section movable for easy wear... And AFAIK modular helmet is the half-helmet.

I may be wrong totally, so please correct me...

      Thanks.

Bhai, you're absolutely right. The link you shared for Vega is a modular hemlet.
Modular helmet = half as well as full face. (depends upon rider's mood - he can flip up the chin part)

Actually, I goofed up while replying. Yes Bieffe is a full face and you plan to use it in city. That's good.
But, please avoid that modular Vega for city/highways/whatever.

Get a proper permanent full face.

My solo ride to Malshej Ghat.

Started at 6:20 in the morning and came back by 4:30 in the evening. The scenic beauty has a pull and you can't help but stop every 5 minutes or so.

He'd get a solid lecture there by multiple members. Hence, I thought of helping him right here with all options listed.

My only worry was the fuel pump going kaput again, which luckily did not happen. Just couldn't imagine any roadside mechanic in the jungle with a fuel pump on jugaad offer!

Thanks to you all that my ZMR is running fit and fine like it should.

Has anyone tried using gel based cushions for the zmr seat? If so any recommendations as to where I could source it from?

Contrary to popular belief, gel based seats cause more PITA than harder seats.

From my talk with HH mechs , I had learned that the Fuel Pump of a ZMR is recoverable...there are two fuel problems known to them..
                              1. Air lock in the fuel line which starves the engine and makes it to stop,
                              2. Fuel Pump motor brushes get worn and pump looses pressure and ultimately stops...

The pump can be opened and serviced for Brush wear out by a knowledgeable mech ,and so is recyclable...

I thought gel seats helps in better weight distribution and hence more comfort. Harder foam on the other hand doesn't shift or adjust right?

This October I got a crazy ride schedule planned out and would love to have something that wouldn't make me stop every one hour
