Bro is that a normal sticker or some heat resistant one? Mine has peeled off due to heat. Within a year.

And ya most of the scratches on the cover are due to maniacs who hit in the traffic. Coming to replacement, ill have the same guard for another year. Main concern was if the old one will be available til then. Also most of the bikes have scratches or dents in that part.

Hi guys, I did a small trip to Nanjangudu on my ZMR last week. It was a solo ride, I maintained a speed between 75-90 and never crossed 100 cos I wanted to check what is the maximum mileage I can achieve on my bike. I was shell shocked to see the results cos I got a mileage of around 52kmpl . It was a 400 km round trip and I had ridden 100 kms in Bangalore and Mysore city and the highway was filled with vehicles on weekend so it was not exactly highway ride.
My bike is presently running on psd and I've installed k&n filter so I hope if ridden on proper highway with lighter Tyre we can achieve atleast 55kmpl with this bike. This bike is truly a mile muncher
But I faced an issue with the engine, after riding for 100 kms non-stop the engine stalled suddenly and refused to start immediately, even though the engine was cranking the ignition didn't happen i's scared to hell as it happened in the middle of no where. I thought thr must be problem with the spark plugs, after 5 min I tried again and engine came to life. This continued to happen thrice while coming back to Bangalore too but as I got used to it I jus took 5min butt break and started riding again, when I checked with my mech after reaching Bangalore he told thr might be some prob wid the fuel pump or clogged injectors and adviced me to give a tap on the fuel pump if it happens again. Any suggestion regarding this problem?

If fuel pump is having error then bike will not start at all...get injector clean....

This could be because of the Air Filter that you are using.. you can try and get the fuel pump cleaned and serviced (atleast thats what the service centers guys did for my Black Pearl) this could also be due to loose wire connection somewhere as this was the culprit in my case..

Not really.. Faulty Fuel pump can pump the fuel but not to an extent for the bike to run for long... yes if the fuel pump is not pumping or not working, in that case the bike will not start at all..

Guys.. I have a question... the other day when I was on my way back home after getting the Rimula Oil.. Was just going along with a speeding R15 and I noticed his headlight was much more brighter than the ZMR's.. i was thrilled/shocked to the brightness from his headlight.. how to make the light burn brighter? will a relay help in this case to make the Osram Night Breakers bright enough?? I was really shocked that day.. Need some inputs on this pls

Yesterday I while stAnding in a signal there was an r15, a p220 and an NS. All three had dragged with one another and were waiting for more. Well, road after the signal was empty, not a cycle also was visible. Decided to have a go. On green obviously the r15 and NS were left behind. 220 guy had a lead. Well thanks to the filter I overtook him but pretty slowly. The look on his face was priceless. But what kepr irritating me was the r15's light beam. Man it kept hurting my eyes from the rear view.
There was another signal ahead where on stopping, the 220 guy asked the make of the filter. I told him but I wanted to know if the r15's lights were stock. Wanted to ask but the bugger jumped the signal.

Now that you too have experienced it, its only obvious that the stock setup itself is brighter. If you wanna increase brightness I don't think relay and osram are a combo. No idea if it can result in a significant improvement in brightness or if it affects it at all. Go for hid.

Whiter doesn't mean brighter! We don't need a relay for 55w bulbs. I tried it for a month and then removed it because it made no difference. I understand that a relay channels max output directly from the battery, but the bike does equally well without it.

Now coming to R15's light intensity, it depends upon various things - wattage of the bulb, its intensity, the reflector design and quality.
Osram NB has a yellowish-white output. Its bright, but not white. White lights actually have an ever so slight blue tinge. Philips Diamond Vision scores here.
But, white bulbs suck in rain.

Get yourself a 4300k HID if you wish to, but trust me, halogens are just fine. VFM to replace as well in case the bulb fuses on an empty highway.
                  Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Nah.. i am not going for a HID.. its a waste of money.. had enough of troubles with that already just wanted to know if a relay would help increase the output.. in the sense more brightness.. if its not going to then I guess there is no point in doing it as I was happy with my ZMR's headlight till i saw the R15s

FYI - stock bulbs in R15 are yellowish. Riders change them with Philips Diamond Vision for the looks (they do look superb) and god knows what else (they don't light the road well)!

With a K&N more air and dust is allowed inside your engine...with a Carburetor the main jets are upgraded to compensate for the increased porosity of K&N..with Injection you have to recalibrate the Fi...Try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes then re-connecting it..this will reset the Fi value and ECU will re-learn...The problem you faced is due to excess heating of engine...If you value your engine revert back to stock.

My experience with Rimula R4 is wonderful.. I am just worried about the little noise coming from either the engine or the head.. not able to identify it.. it happens only after riding her for some distance say 20kms or more... I will probably have to take the bike for a check up this weekend after riding the bike for more than 20kms.. so that i can show it to the SVC guys..
