I guess you are stating about osram 55/60w bulb.If so,then it may fit on your super splendor but will be useless.I had tried the philips xtravision 55/60w on my bajaj platina as i had to purchase a pair, but the problem is, the alternator doesn't supply enough current for it.So, when you reduce the accelerator, the light almost goes off.If still you want to put it on splendor, then you will have to change the circuit and will have to use certain adapters to increase current.I have removed the 55/60w bulb from my platina in just two days and kept it as a spare .Originally posted by sarkartheruler View PostA small query: Will the H4 Osram Night breaker lights purchased for my ZMR also fit my Dad's super splendor and my wife's TVS scooty streak?

Get your ride to a decent mech and have him scan every inch of wiring in your bike. Loose connections or probably cut wires.. Had the same issue in mineOriginally posted by rreneav1987 View PostFacing another issue

Yep..same case with me too.. i got the first servicing done on my ZMR today.. As I use Motul Chain Lube at home, i had told the service guy not to lube my chain there.. But came back home only to find oil dripping off the chain cover & it was some god damn burnt black oil !!! Dont know how HMC is allowing it, coz it's just not cheap, it's so unhealthy for the chain too.. !Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostYes, I lube the chain myself using a chain spray. I gave my bike for service last week. Maybe they over lubed the chain.

Bibhu da, were you in JP Nagar today around 3:30 PM by any chance? I was near Big Bazaar and saw a guy with orange ZMR who looked quite like the person in your DP. Was a busy signal, hence could not confirm and moved on.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

You can have the following tires for the rear:-
1. Michelin M45 (tube-type, but a few brave hearts use it as tubeless) - 100 mm, thickness same as stock, but appears wider due to its round profile. Awesome offroading capabilities. Decent highway tire, good in corners. One of the best upgrades on a ZMA/ZMR. Soft compound - replacement within 20k kms. No mods needs, its plug and play.
- Sadly, its production has stopped and finding a genuine piece is next to impossible.
2. Pirelli Sport Demon (tubeless) - 110 mm, round profile. Heavier than the stock tire and grips the road like leech. If fit properly, it just misses touching the chain cover by a milli-meter from both sides. I have been using this tire for 5k kms now. To offset the weight of the tire, I have removed the chain guard and hence reduced almost 5 kg from the weight of the bike. The ride height has increased due to the 110 mm round profile tire.
Its an awesome tire, great cornering capabilities and works on all kind of roads in all seasons. Negligible mileage/pickup drop. (Even before removing the chain cover)
- Soft compound, HIGHLY prone to punctures. (Luckily, I never faced a puncture so far)
3. Pirelli Sport Demon 120 mm.
Same benefits as PSD 110 tire (mentioned above in #2). But, this requires either cutting/removing the chain cover.
NOTE :- All these 3 tires require replacement within 20k kms.
I am planing to change the rear tyre from stock one to PSD 120... Except chain guard removal any other modification?? As I see very little space between the rear disk supporting rode and 100 size tyre.. Hence I m not sure about 120 not getting kissed by that rod
.. Persons using 120 can please suggest what you guys have done.....

Anyone using Osram nightbraker 55/60w bulb in ZMR? How is the high beam spread? I have been using the same bulb for the past 5 years and the high beam is good. Last time I did a tour on Rakesh's ZMR and he is using the same blub. I noticed the spread of the high beam was not good, though intensity appeared good. I have been thinking both ZMR and Karizma have the same reflector design, but the high beam spread of my Karizma and ZMR are different with same type of bulb.
And anyone using Philipis Extreme Vision? and how is its beam spread and light?
Thanks in advance.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler
