    My GF has completed her masters and about to complete her B ed .. And we are together for last 10 years hence they are insisting me to get her permanently in my life. Moreover we meet every alternative weekends and also I visit their home on regular basis and vice versa... hence get it official, before people start pointing figures....

                  Took out my bike for a ~60kms ride.. I must say.. Bike is lovely... Smoother than ever.... atleast till a particular RPM.. i noticed vibes only after 7000 RPM that too less than before....

                  after I returned home.. i heard some kat kat sound near the head.. thinking it to be either the timings chain or the tappet sound.. couldn't identify it properly.. also I was quite tired after a full day working and then a 60km ride.. almost 45kms in heavy traffic...

                  Loving the Rimula R4.. much better than the FS oils that I have used till now...

                  and how much will the clutch plates cost if i wanted to replace them??

                  Just one more.. i remember my friend/mechanic telling me playing with the clutch plates and pressure plates helps increase the acceleration of the bike.. anyone has any idea about it and the back effects of the same???

                    Stiffer springs? The chain and sprockets will wear out sooner than expected.

                      I am not sure as I don't remember what it is termed as.. I asked him once when I called him and asked him about big bore and stuff..

                        The R4 experience is unique...behaves like FS without costing as much,and you can change it every 1,500~2,000 Kms and have good oil in engine all the time...wait for some time to ascertain clutch slip before deciding to change them...going for stiffer springs is not necessary....and will actually cause clutch thrust bearing and associated parts to wear faster...
                        Do let us know after your observation to-morrow on the sound near the engine head......

                        Clutch thrust bearing, clutch cable and actuator mechanism all will take the strain due to stiffer springs....not the chain and sprockets...

                            new clutch plates and pressure plates will cost around 1400 or so, remember to change the engine oil if you change clutch plate and pressure plates..they will help in smoother shifts, no false neutrals( if u getting)..good roll on

                              Guys.. what do the service guys do when they say they are gonna clean the head?? I stopped them from doing it the last 2 services.. as i didnt want thwm to mess around.. if you guys suggest me to go ahead with it.. i will.. also i think the front right fork oil seal is broken.. how much will they charge for it.. i noticed it only today..

                                I guess i will do it the next time i change the oil.. by the way.. how else can we know when to replace clutch plates?? What all possible ways??
