    1 . I am planning for a ride @ 650 km on a new bike

2 . What is procedure of road tax in bangalore and how much it costs ?

3 . Is that fine with bike if i ride such a long distance when its new ?

    please provide me the information
bro if u hava a ZMR then nothing in this country is far .
as far as 650kms on a new bike, ull face no problem if u take regular breaks and not take bike above 60km/h.
but still i wont recommend it for new bike.
speed thrills but kills if you dont have skills

Lucky first of all welcome to Xbhp

Now if you are buying new ZMR and planning to ride it 650 kms in one day then its a very bad idea.
The bike will be new and you would need to ride it slow at a speed o around 45-50 till your first service at 750 kms and then you can ride till 80-90 till your 2nd service is done at around 1500 kms and only after that would I recommend you to ride fast.

Riding a new bike for 650 kms a strecth is not a wise thing to do and you might easily cross 50 km in your speedo thus damaging your engine.

Any reason why you are so eager to ride 650 kms in a day???
Regarding cost of ZMR it should be around 1.05L Please check with your local HH dealer to find out more.

Why would any damages happen? I did not get your question. Can you elaborate?

If you are going to get the bike delivered to you by Parcel service I can't comment whether it will be scracth free!!!
I know SBK get delivered without scratches but this is a different story as ZMR will not be packed in that manner and there might be few scratches that you might find possibly. Has anyone here got bike delivery by parcel service?

Where do you live? Why do you want to take the delivery from a dealer which is located approx 650 kms away from you?

I dont think you'll have to pay extra amount to ride in Banglore. If you're going to ride in Banglore why dont you buy it from there ???

Its your successful return on ZMR from a place like Ladakh that has given me courage to attempt it on my ZMR possibly this year if I get leaves of course.

Get your complete bike throughly checked up at service centre.
This problem occurs possibly when there is not enough fuel supplied or if more air is getting inside.
May be doing an engine flush & adding engine oil additive would be helpful.
Good Luck for your trip and my best wishes. The Bike was in the service centre for a couple of days now, and we have identified that the Fuel Pump is the culprit!

Fuel Quality? I cant control the quality of fuel i use when I'm on a tour! And its not because of the usual Air inside the tank. Thats not the case here thankfully.

The Air Filter was changed in the 15,000 Km service - and checked it again few days back. It was fine. We identified the Fuel pump is clogged / contains some thing that blocks the fuel - and hence the bike jerks / doesn't rev properly.

As usual - The Fuel Pump needs to be replaced - and on order it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks! So the maintenance / spare part woes for the ZMR continues in South India! Would update once the issue is sorted out.

yeah its a battery problem & also i guess your bike's chain is loose that's why you are getting tak tak sound.

Hummerrock I can understand how frustrating this must be when you have to push the bike and start it since the starter does not work.

I had faced the same problem few months back. My battery was faulty.
They tried to charge the battery at the service centre and the next day again the same problem occurred. I again took the bike at service centre and they again tried to find out the problem.
Few things which were considered as the problem like starter nip , possible problem with relay or battery issue.
The mechanic told that relay is working fine so he went inside and removed a different battery from another ZMR and connected it to my bike. Guess what my bike starter perfectly. So it was a battery issue.

I suggest you to try and change the battery at the service centre and check if your starter problem resolves. Hopefully it should. Also get your starter relay checked. If it's only a relay problem you dont need to change the battery.

I used a spare battery for a couple of months till the time I received a new battery from HH as my battery was still in warranty period of 12 months.
Battery got replaced with a new battery
