The bike looks more of an individual parked in some service centre with plastic covered possibly because those might be new parts of the bike. Again I m just assuming.
Is HH just updating the color of grabrails to update new ZMR? I dont think so.
Just to add I still find our dark Greyish grabrails more smarter.
Lets wait and watch I think ZMR deserves a better upgrade or update surely...
there was more then one bike & all were brand new & unregistered just like this one..

      • Can we keep cleaning cloth as shown in pic here?
Somewhere earlier I read that we shouldn't keep it under the seat... hence this question

          Points of concern
          >The Air filter intake is beneath the seat hence it wont be good if u keep a dusty cloth there.
          >there are a few points where seat rests over the frame. one point is very close to where u have shown the cloth kept. the seat might be imbalanced and improperly locked if piece of cloth comes between the seats rubber support and the frame.

keeping these things in mind one may put the cleaning cloth under seat.
          I wont recommend(personal opinion)

buddy..i have been storing the cleaning cloth in the same place you have shown in the pic for the past 4 yrs now, 3 yrs in the zma-r and 1 yr in my zmr.....havent faced any issues with the air filter or any other thing.

as long as we dont keep the cloth in the air filter suction chamber we are good to keep any where we want to under the seat. as far as dust in the air filter is concern it will suck it even from out side. so be rest assured to keep the cloth you are storing under the seat...

            • ^^^, same here, been storing the cleaning cloth the same area cbz(2004) to zma-r (present)..no issues at all..or u can try wrapping it with tool kit which also reduces the vibrations/sounds comes from tool kit.

              • Any one has replaced / checked the Fuel Filter? My ZMR has done some 20000+ Kms and off late the bike chokes when i rev above 4k RPM. The SVC is unable to diagnose any problem, I suspect a Air Filter filament clogging or some issue with the Fuel Filter.

Has any one gone through this before?

Yes ananth I have gone through your thread Great Escape - Ladakh journey beyond reasons.

Its your successful return on ZMR from a place like Ladakh that has given me courage to attempt it on my ZMR possibly this year if I get leaves of course.

Get your complete bike throughly checked up at service centre.
This problem occurs possibly when there is not enough fuel supplied or if more air is getting inside.
May be doing an engine flush & adding engine oil additive would be helpful.

                  • @Ananth: Wow!! Making the ZMR do what it was meant to do !

Most probably, it is the clogging issue I suspect. Experts, plz give your advice .

Please check the fuel quality, generally fuel filters dont go off.clean of the dust if you see in/around petrol tank lid.check the spark plug gap/get it cleaned if needed. If this problem is because of air gap, open the tank lid wait for few seconds and lock it back.it worked on my zma-r

                      • The old ZMA-R had to get a new airfilter - the plastic mould with the filter mesh embedded. There is no foam type filter for it. What is it with the ZMR ? if its similar, then you can replace it with a new one and check it out. ..

you need to get 1.35 ltr..as you are changing the engine oil so the previous oil should be fully replaced by new one.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.
