I am just skeptic about the heat being generated with this LED setup as there are couple of online forums that speak about heat dissipation issues and installing fans and similar stuff as countermeasure. Do you have any plan on making similar setups?

I am right now struck with starting issue and i suspect the issue to be due to starter relay / its connections. If i don't start the bike for couple of days, the bike refuses to start during initial attempts while the starter relay just makes tik tik noise. If i remove the side door, tap the relay and the connected wires, the bike start afterwards. Also, once the bike starts after this effort, it behaves well by starting with single press for the complete day.

I am thinking of removing the relay, cleaning the terminals, fixing again to see if the issue vanishes.

Meanwhile, Pongal wishes / Shankaranti wishes to every XBHPians out there.

You have most probably nailed it! Open the relay, take out its fuse and dust the white deposits. Similarly clean all terminals and fit it back. If the relay has cracked, replace it.
You can either go for the OE relay or opt for a cheaper option - Honda City/Mitsubishi Lancer relay. Costs half as much at 100 rupees. Available at car accessories shops.

    comparison to 55watts ???

its time i share some details on the light and why i ordered it after checking every bit of info with the owner/seller of the firm. he is now a good forum friend of mine.

the H4 bulb is a direct OEM replacement. hence fits directly . no mods whatsover however ... however i had to cut the rubbeer boot by .5 cm on sides which does not affect the safety/dust protection or anything at all.

    coming to power :

the bulb uses 4 cree beads which is each 10 watts - hence 40 watts in total.

Low beam engages only 2 LED- using barely 20 watts - making roughly 2000 lumens
High beam engages all 4 LED beads using just 40 watts - making 3800 true lumens and not claimed. if going by chinese terminology claims it might hit 6000+ lumens theoritically as each bead is capable of delivering 150 lumen per watt.

    Now heat dissipation :
its not just a heat sink but it has a High speed fan as well which engages via its own temp sensor as and when needed and stays out of the bulb assembly.
it is 100% water proof . tried and tested offroad, crazy rains and extreme pressure washes from all direction.

heat/reflctor melting : even after 2 hours of usage unlike the standard bulb you can touch the glass of your headlight assembly and its stays cool just like with the headlight turned off. no heating never....

power : stock bulb uses 55w low and 60 watts high beams. this is barely 50% power.

Hi Guys, this is Aman. I moved to Bangalore last year in the month of September and got my Black Pearl shipped here in December. I am totally confused about the bike registration things because mine is UP registered. Need your advice on what to do. Cops & RTO are unnecessary headache that I want to avoid.
        Thanks in advance.

It's still in transit. It reached Delhi on 16th but I haven't received further updates. Waiting for it to reach BLR. I just hope it doesn't cost me a bomb even if it gets stuck in customs. Bhai, please PM me your number.

If you plan to stay for long term, simply pay Life Time Tax. No need to change from UP to KA number.

Is there a need to remove the fuel tank to adjust tappets?

Also oil is leaking from engine drain bolt, so he wants to put a bond(some quick fix glue) which he says is used inside engines too

From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

                              1. Yes Bro. Fuel tank will have to be removed for tappet adjustment.

2.Check for any damage near the oil drainage area and try to replace the drain bolt itself if required , avoid any other glue or quick fix.

                              * PS - we should try replacing the drain bolt after maybe 2-3 cycles (as advised before by few senior members),
I had a incident where the drain bolt was damaged and half stuck. It was a nightmare getting it out without damaging the near by area.:-(

Attaching a pic after the incident.

True, like Vijay just said its always better to change the the drain bolt after 3 changes, the drain bolt unlike other bikes drain bolts is made up of soft aluminum and tends to lose shape upon use of force during wrenching.
