It is purchased separately, costs 6/- per piece, I usually go and get the whole pack.

It is a squishable kind of washer that ensures a perfect seal.

I usually change both the drain bolt as well as the O'ring on every oil change, the O-ring is not reuseable and the drain bolt is pretty fragile.

You need to loosen the axle nut and then set the tension using the adjuster at the end. If my memory is right the slack should be 20mm at different point, someone kindly confirm.

AFAIK Chain slack should be 1" at the tightest point.

The chain free play should be 25mm.

I continued the work yesterday morning. Fitted in the drain plug as illustrated and filled in 1L of AX7.

This is the drive chain after cleaning with WD40 and wiping off

Then applied chain lube all over

Ride quality improved a little bit. Gear shift is smoother. Trying to make the most of the bike before I have to sell it next month.

After almost 2 weeks, I started my Black Pearl on Monday Morning.. the bike started without any issues.. but I noticed one thing.. The bike was a little harsh as compared to before... I thought it will be normal after I ride for a day or so, but it still feels harsh.. What could be the reason?? I changed the Engine oil before I left for Chennai..

P.S. I am using Gulf 20W40 (I don't think oil can be the culprit here as I have used it for more than 4000 kms now)

                              Jealousy !.

.Check oil level and color...darker oil denotes contamination...I remember your saying that on higher Revs you get blue smoke from exhaust...
