Yes. Any aftermarket stuff is bad in the long run.

No idea bhai! Maybe the chemical composition. Maybe they're suitable only on high revving engines. Can be anything. Yet to get a positive review from any single Karizma rider on the same.

After extensively using shell and agip, i feel agip is way better than shell. I remember i had made a contradictory comment to this long back. But now, lookin back two years, i feel agip was way better than shell. During high acceleration, the engine sounds harsh while using ax7. Agip had no such issues. And i remember, used to drain the oil after 4-5k kms.

So I decided to change the oil from stock to AX7. First time doing it myself

After draining the oil for a long time, I got confused how to put back the spring and the oil filter inside. Is this how it goes inside guys?

As I was not sure and it was getting late, I just put on the dipstick and the drain plug in temporarily. Yet to fill in the oil.

Also, I removed the chain case and sprayed WD40 all over liberally. Afterward sometime i wiped it all off using some cloth. Yet to clean the cases (1 dead lizard inside). Purchased one bottle of chain lube at Shell bunk. Planning to apply tomorrow and will then fit the cases.

Wrong.. Filter goes inside spring( Mesh goes inside spring, black rubber stays on top)...Keep the spring on drain bolt such that, the back part goes in first and the tighten the drain bolt.

What is the use of the drain nut O ring? When I purchased the drain plug from a spares shop, I didn't get that black O ring. What does it do?

Its an oil seal to prevent oil leakage and to ensure tight fit of the drain bolt without possibility of oil seeping through.
