Dear ZMR riders,
I am in (vauge) search for a used bike. I have come across couple of ZMRs. Being it's successor itself is discontinued, is it a good idea to pick up one? Apart from this thought, ZMR ticks all my needs. Please advise me.

Just change the swing arm bush. Ensure you get ZMR ones and not ZMA ones. Both are exact fit but ZMA bushes cost
1700 and for a change ZMR's cost 150.

Hi,

If it matches all your needs, go for it.

Parts has always been an issue right from the date zmr was launched. I do not believe the situation is more better or worse now.

I was always searching for this in internet but i didnt ever thought our bike would look so cool in MATT BLACK with red stripes

was searching for some microfibre cloth and stumbled upon this in flipkart

Shell 10W-40 Helix HX7 (3.5 L) : 1300/-
Exxon Mobil 10W-40 Super XHP Engine Oil (4 L): 1630/-

Both of these are car-specific engine oils.
Please note, I'm NOT saying these are HDEOs (Diesel engine oils). HDEOs can be run on our bikes. Discussed a few times previosly.

These are car engine oils. They contain anti friction agents because transmission in cars have their own oil and are separate from the engine. If such an oil is used on bikes, you'd lose your clutch first due to slippage and slowly the engine due to stress (slipping clutch).
Please buy only HDEOs/bike specific engine oils.

Mobil1 Racing 4T 10w40 FS, Shell Advance AX7 10w40 SS, Shell Ultra 10w40 FS etc are good options.

Hi all, Previously I had reported about the front balance issue and the front wheel locking issue in the forum. Yesterday by chance, I found out something. The front disc assembly (That is bolted to the fork) has a slight lateral movement in my bike. It produces a squeaking sound also when I forces it to move. It seems like the nut/bolt holding the assembly is loose. Is it a common thing to all our bikes, or is it just me? Is it the real issue for the wheel locking? Can some one check and see in their bikes? What I did was, I put the bike in stand, hold wheel steady and jiggles the entire assembly left and right. Yes, it moves to the left and right of the disc and has some lateral movement. Please confirm this guys
