Maybe u didn't see it properly yesterday. Digital tacho doesn't help either, moreover it's difficult to see the bars on the tacho at high speeds and its dangerous too.
Life of clutch plates depends upon ur riding style.
Also, I hope you maintain engine warming ritual before starting your bike everytime and before parking the bike at night as well.

The funda is to keep all parts lubed at least before every start and after the last long stop. Moreover, keep the bike under 4k rpm for the first 3-4 kms daily to ensure engine reaches optimal operating temperatures.

In next few Kms the engine and R4 will get to know each other and have harmonious relationship...

I always keep my bike idled for 30 seconds before moving ahead.. especially in the morning..

my riding style is insane and sane.. mixed feelings.. lol..

My Friend with the RTR 180 said he didn't notice much difference in vibes.. maybe because his bike completely vibrates

The detergents in the Diesel oil starts to move around inside the engine, and starts to clean up...small deposits inside engine including deposits on the clutch plates will come off...so initially the bike may feel a little restricted, and seems to have clutch slip, but after sometime the good effects start to take effect....Now at 1,200+ Kms in my bike the R3x still feels and Looks good for another 1,000 Kms....but i will be changing it at 1,500 kms since it is a mineral oil, and whatever debris inside the engine is cleaned out with this oil....
Soon as I changed to R3x I distinctly heard my engine Tappet and could locate it to the inlet tappet...I had adjusted it ..not to spec but slightly loose, since I wanted to monitor the oil's effect.......till date it remains the same....

Yesterday night suddenly my headlight went kaput. Now whenever i switch on the main headlight the high beam inidicator glows, and the left indicator just stays on (it doesnt blink), also the indicators are not working. Any idea what is the issue and the cost involved

Is the self start working?? other than indicators and the high beam indicator glowing.. what are the other issues that you noticed??

Wiring. Or a problem cause of the rains. Take it to the svc. They'll handle it.

check fuse too...

, and boy does she command her orders over me! Call her every 2 hours when touring and god forbid if I'm unable to text/call her when in hills, its doomsday for me. In this context I m luck she doesn't allow me to doze.... She take cares of the muzic player and other accessorizes and most important her sitting habit with me great... I m with the same girl for last 10 years.... The figure makes me feel I m old... But I m only 24+.... Her parents are pushing me to get settled ASAP........
