Re: Need to Change rear tyre for my Karizma ZMR
oh thats great for a mind catchup
The radiator grills have bent perhaps due to lack of grill protector. if the grill are bent, there are quite good chances of over heating... if you can get it checked and if needs replacement do it

Completed 20k so suggest me a front tyre... 80/100 -18 isn't it broader than 3.00 -18??? Actually never saw the size of front tyre anywhere!!! Plz suggest.. Is PSD avaiable??Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View PostSure i can elaborate....!! Imagine you have a very huge section on ur rear...and a thin punn little say cycle tyre.... On the front....(imagine) . With that when u lean..ur bike will b pointing towards the outside of the curve....which will tend to move it also towards the outer circumference...!! Similar thing happen even when ur rear and front sections arent compatible...u may feel that the curves are pushing u a little outwards and the natural position of entering the curve is lost......!! Hope ur getting what i say:-) i know cycle tyre example funny but most easiest way to explain i feel:-)
yea it is mohsin bhai....and u can have the credit of being a few members on the first page tooo:-) after all u were the first White ZMR in Mumbai...:-)

Nopes mate...80/100/18 isnt wider than 3.00.....2.75 is almost similar to 80 section...!!! Psd front for a ZMR...i dont think its available.....and as i said before very narrow options available in TL front...:-(Originally posted by antan_shank View PostCompleted 20k so suggest me a front tyre... 80/100 -18 isn't it broader than 3.00 -18??? So installing a good TT tyre is a better option..!! Try michelin M62, M45 im 90% sure its difficult to find but just for tht 10% hope try it..!!! Orelse try duro or then dunlop...!! They have TT front i suppose..!!! I also think IRC has TL front tyres bht they in my opinion are fully track tyres not for regular riding n offroading even to a small extent..!!Regards-

Re: Need to Change rear tyre for my Karizma ZMR
80/100 is wider than 3.00-18 as 80 is in mm and 3.00 is in inches.
If we convert the 80 mm to inches then it comes 80/25.4= 3.14 almost 3.15 inches.
For 80/100 get the same front tyre as stock as the new extreme comes with same tyre and i find it good. Or you can get the front tyre that comes in new passion xpro which is also 80/100 and has better thread pattern.Photo of my joy- http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/854067-post963.html-3.88 lac km cont....Ownership review of my joy- http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/832255-post608.html- slowly updating as and when getting time. Re: Need to Change rear tyre for my Karizma ZMR
Isn't M45 a rear tire? Moreover, its 4" x 18 in specs, which is a big upsize. The bike will have a much heavier front. Ideally, not advised. One more senior member has it on his bike for quite sometime, but it may well be avoided. Stock front tires are as good.Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View PostTry michelin M62, M45 im 90% sure its difficult to find but just for tht 10% hope try it..!!!

Re: Need to Change rear tyre for my Karizma ZMR
M45 is(rather was) available in various sizes, Starting from 2.75-18/16" to 4.00-18" (In India) with intervals of every 0.25. Its just that the best results was found on 4.00-18 rear, so it became famousOriginally posted by Divya Sharan View PostIsn't M45 a rear tire? Moreover, its 4" x 18 in specs, which is a big upsize.
