I have crossed 1.05 Lakh Kms with ZMR with stock clutch.... Feel great about the internal parts.

What update about spare availability around?
I guess you're the first person to clock 1L kms on the zimmer. NIce to know that stock clutch plates are still intact. Goes to show that you've taken proper care.
Spares are available easily now. (w.r.t earlier times, but a few spares may still be a pain)

HMC won't contact you. They'll blast the SVC, who in turn would call you. Give them some time.

Exact same thing happened.. but in my case when I got the call from the Service Manager i said I didn't wanna speak with the service manager and took it to the owner of that showroom/SVC the owner of the SVC/Showroom blasted that service manager in front of me.. me along with my friend who acted as the Lawyer blasted him.. my friend was speaking like an actual Lawyer.. saying my client wants to put a case on you blah blah blah.. he doesn't know much hindi and this doesn't mean you should cheat my client.. and so many things happened to be treated like a VIP.. even now if I take the bike to that ASC I get treated like a VIP the manager makes the expert mechanic to check my bike immediately after he finishes the servicing of the bike he is attending to

The last 2 times, the showroom guys called me back the very next day, but this time it's taking longer. Let's hope the upcoming models are not shifting HMC's customer care focus from the old ones!!

They are gonna bring in 2 different variants

if you check the 2 bikes standing there.. one has rear disc brakes and the other doesnt... also note the handlebars one is more sporty and the other one is more relaxed.. in the sense one has a smaller 2 piece like in CBR and the other has a bigger one like in ZMR

One has Karizma's silencer and the other has ZMR silencer.. I guess they are gonna name these beasts Karizma and ZMR respectively and they are gonna be much cheaper than the CBR Waiting for these machines

Now that's a promising image than the images from gaadi.com
Tyre size same as my P220, 120/80..

            Still no mono-shocks

the seating position seems to be sporty.. Beefy silencer as always.. I prefer this silencer than underbelly exhaust. Hoping a ABS Variant too.

You will never know.. these 2 are probably just the update of the ZMR and ZMA-R

even if upgrades only; if these models are to be believed then they would mean no more trademark pillion comfort of HM bikes & the newer ones would be for solo riding only.. & that would be extremely disappointing.. infact with such a high pillion positon the rider himself would feel extremely uncomfortable while a pillion is on.. not sure if this is the demand of market...

                  My Bikes:
Yamaha RD (The one which taught me what riding is; Can never forget this one)
Bajaj Caliber (The one closest to my heart; I still have it after 15 yrs !)
Yamaha R15 V2.0 (The best I had; Ah it let me become the college hunk I once used to be :) )

I think these two test mules are updated versions of KARIZMA-R and KARIZMA-ZMR . As seen in pics one with rear drum break and disk break set up . Rear shocks also match with the one's on ZMR..

The tyres arent the most ideal tyres but bliv me do the job well.....not even a single fall..:-P.....
After i returned i had added another 6k to the odo and i felt the tyres now needed to be changed.....I got Rear PSD 110/90/18 (the profile isnt 90 mind it...its a little tall as compared to stock) and the best thing...front i got the Mich M45 3.00 18:-)
The tyres dont touch the chain guard when a little adjustment is done...but then there is still a very less clearence btwn the tyre edge n chain guard...so im getting my chain guard cut so it has ample clearance.....!!

They avoid it because it is less comfortable for the pillion when the bike has a mono-shock suspension as a grand tourer the bike has to make the pillion comfortable too..

I would suggest you to wait for the bike if you are willing to wait for another 6 months.. and the bike is gonna be more powerful than the ZMR.. they are gonna launch it during the diwali festive season... this was the same time 4 years back when the ZMR was caught testing on road... and in september, ZMR was launched.. so my mind says we will see the bike in flesh in showrooms by October.. but waiting means you will have to wait forever as they will keep launching new bikes choice is your mate..

I have some good hopes for the bike.. hope they don't disappoint me like how they did with the specs of ZMR..
