Reneav- Every filter other than stock is a k&n for them! Lol. I too told them its simota and not kn. They said its for reference and it means filter cleaning.
Handling is good and there are absolutely no vibes. But they always come back aftet some time.
But I absolutely have no confidence on these stock tyres. They suck. Treads have long worn out. 30k on stock tyres and its high time to change. Searching for PSD. And which is the best front tyre that you guys recommend? Shall change it next month after my exams!

Depends entirely on what are your riding conditions. City and highway can be managed by zmr. You need time to get adjusted to city riding but when you do, handling is easy.
Mileage of zmr in city is 40-45 and highway 45-50. May cross the 50kmpl mark depending on your riding.
Regarding Enfield, post it in the respective ownership thread. They'll answer you better.
Did not understand the part where you mentioned about options. But whichever you buy, test drive it once.

Ps- keeping posts simple and short is not the option! Elaborate. Riding conditions and stuff like that..

For your riding conditions, yes zmr satisfies them. Regarding worth of the price difference, think it this way-
Approx 20-30k is the difference between zma and zmr? Its less than 30k am sure. Well in that difference, you get a pgm-fi system, rear disc breaks, a number of sensors in the engine to ensure better performance, i-grs shocks, split handle bar and grab rails, a fully faired body, increased power and to top it all off, the best in class Speedo console!
Well, this more than justifies the prise difference I hope. Mind you, zma-r is a brilliant performer. It excells in handling and looks (according to me).
Regarding show rooms in delhi, I have no clue. Wait for some time til a member from there classifies to you.

I also want to know best TL tyre for ZMR in front...

BTW...regarding rear tyre alignment...the tyre shop has wrongly set the adjuster that is why the tyre was not aligned....gone to SVC yesterday; now it is fine...

Check the suspension..the right one is loosing...cost of change is 1900....

also, during clean process today check the oil level and it was very low...do synthetic oil consume more as compared to mineral oil...

i have already taken TD at K.S. automobiles Mahipalpur New Delhi.

but seen few very bad things there ...

the bike on which i did TD was a new bike from stock, they have just disconnected the speedometer cable so it was not showing speed and other info.

all though i dint rev it hard but i dont know what speed i did.

so they must be doin this for all there TD. nd person buyin bike will not get a stock bike.

i asked them regarding this and they said they don't give TD , it's just in your case we are giving.
but i dont trust there words ...

thats why i wana know from where i should buy ZMR in Delhi.

though the salesperson was very helpful and he said he can give 2626 as bike nos. if i buy bike from there.

As i will be returning to Delhi in first week of july ... i will buy ZMR then ...

Also i wana know but the colours should i go for ... black or white ( keeping colour fading, Scratches etc in mind ).

I've a black and dirt is visible on black easily than white. White looks neat. And I've observed that shine can be seen easily from black surface than any other. But zmr does look good in white.
Confused? Lol, buy the colour which you like.
And more important than the unique 2626 no is the bike bro. Chuck that showroom, and check hero's website for their showroom locations in delhi and observe the conditions of bikes there
Many members from delhi are present but since its a weekend, members are not online!!

And this is the condition now..

Also i observed a kind of leak in the air box...

Well, condition of the filter is bad. I have no idea how to clean it. Also i observed leakage at the cylinder head..

So this leakage contributes to the burning smell.

Looking at the pics, is it possible to conclude that the air filter is the only cause for the non-uniform pull? And ya by jerking i mean the kind that happens when there is no fuel..
If the filter is at fault then why does the problem occur only when the engine is hot?
Also is the oil leakage at the cylinder head too much to worry about? This is the second time its happening. The first time it happened i got it rectified. Its happening again..
1. If you cant do the time, dont do the crime.
When it comes to free flow filters this is expected. There are numerous warnings posted throught Xbhp. If you're still surprised then its an error from your part.
And never expect the filter to retain the stock color forever.

Heres mine with just barely 20kms on the odo,

Same thing after a while,

Now, even after cleaning it multiple times, its Black with a tint of blue.

IIRC I remember mentioning this before, and suggested everyone to go for foam based filters.

This is the UNI new,

After a while of using the whole thing looked like a big ball of dirt, due to the excess 2T I added to it.

But this is what it looked like after I put it in the washing machine for cleaning.

2. The oil in the filter box is due to the breather, when using a free flow filter, you're expected to use a seperate breather filter as well.

3. The exhaust valve cover leak is common, just get a new cover bolt and O ring, around 30rs expense. If you're lazy(like myself) then just use fevibond.

Have PMed you for details..
