The reason is not just the scratches.. if you notice.. there will be very minute lines which can cause this.. it happened with my old Karizma and my bro's Hunk.. if possible.. take a look at another bike's disc and see the difference.. I will have to change the Disc plate if I don't change the pads soon

Currently i am having Yahama SZR (which is only 9 month old) , though i am never happy with the mileage part its hover around 40kmpl. So, I was thinking if somehow I will be getting mileage around 40kmpl.. why dont I will move to some bigger bike like pulsar 220 (not 200ns - as i dont like the shape i am big fan of semi fairing).

So, please advice. budget is around 1 lacs which may be extended only upto 1.10 lacs... I will be using this 80% for highway or weekend drive with my wife as i am now having CNG fitted Car with me

Regarding my physic... i am 6.3" tall, weight around 97kgs

        1) i like pulsar 220
        2) ZMR

So , please put some lights on performance, availability of spare part or cost of ownership

Which bike is lighter on pocket..????? but does not compromise on performance.
Well, both the bikes are completely different and classified into different categories..

The P220 is a little more powerful and shows the grunt.. you can feel the punch and the engine will roar showing that 21bhp power..

on the other hand.. ZMR is a little less powerful. not to an extent to push it out of the competition.. you won't feel the punch and the grunt from the engine.. and this bike cannot show its power with the engine roar as it is a softer and smoother engine.. you will find the bike to be sooo smooth that only if you look at the speedometer you will know that you are actually riding the bike at a high speed.. what I am trying to say is.. the Engine is much relaxed and refined compared to the Pulsar Engine..

that 17.6 bhp power proves its power by letting you ride her continuously without letting you down.. the relaxed engine will make you feel so damn comfortable on the highways.. and the sitting posture in the ZMR is more relaxed compared to the Pulsar 220.. but on a long ride.. your wrist might start paining.. when I say long ride.. i mean more than 1000 kms ride..

Mileage of ZMR on highways will be nowhere less than 45kmpl.. you can expect more on the highways depending upon how you ride.. in City.. you will get anywhere between 40-45kmpl...

if you are a fan of semi fairing.. why did you knock out the Karizma from the List... it is as good as the ZMR.. except in terms of Mileage figures.. though it will be better than the P220...

ZMR/ZMA for relaxed and refined riding experience. Pulsar 220 for outright drag performance.

I suggest you to consider ZMA as also recommended by reneav.

Bro there's a hero showroom in the entrance of lalbagh road. A big one. Ask them for the spares shop. They'll guide you to the shop. You'll have to go 2kms almost inside. There you'll find a godown kinda place. Thats the place where spare supplies come first in Bangalore and various dealers buy from them. They havr in stock EACH AND EVERY thing.

@rreneav1987, I'm looking for quite a few spares, most important of them being - the entire wiring kit and all fuses. Apart from that, I've been looking for the rear foot peg (left side) too. Then, there's the bar end weight that is not in stock here.

But, let me see Lalbagh area as mentioned by @abhi7013. The saddest thing is - my mom and sis have come down and I'm unable to take either to close places like Nandi hills.

R15 V1's pegs are a direct fit. I had them fr a brief while, but they vibrated a lot.
