an other recent incident that I encountered. After changing the spark plug(old champion burnt out replaced it with NGK) at home I was checking if everything was working fine. Turned the key to ignition on and after a few seconds the PGMFI fault led starts blinking with the code 5 long blinks and 4 short ones. scared the shit out of me. But the blinking stopped ones I put up the whole fairing back and re-connecting the power cables. now after 200kms after this incident though no fault light blinks but there is still some part in my mind which isn't accepting that everything is alright.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

I assume motor brush are inside the pump....Pump is make of KIEHIN
I have seen the fuel pump of RE Classic 500's and it is very small..
so this is the faulty one, right?? why don't you open it up and study it??
gives you a chance to see how it works and to see what made it faulty.. also a possibility of a good DIY if you can get it fixed

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Alternative TL tire options for ZMR/ZMA, from MRF available now. Front Zapper FQ 80/100 18 TL and rear Zapper Vyde 100/90 18 TL. Guess they are not in the market now. They would come soon into the market. If somebody wants them you can shoot a mail to MRF to arrange for the same in your city.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Guys,
I met with an accident today morning on my way to office..
I was overtaking an auto and out of no where an idiot on CD Dawn just came and slammed on my right ride and on the right was nearly 4" height divider and after moving together with my bike getting scratched on the divider I fell down on the divider and that idiot balanced because of me and ran away from there.. in heavy traffic.. I survived thank God no heavy vehicle was coming behind me.. I was lucky enough not to get any scratch or bruise but my Black Pearl took all the beating
:'( The brake lever got bent and the brake efficiency has reduced to the core
I wish I could have beaten up that guy who hit into me..

Any Idea how much the lower part of the fairing will cost?? Its got a big crack and now the vibrations are hell
Is it easily available ??

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Hey bro... Good that nothing happened to you... Its better we be extra careful within city limits especially with our bikes(with fairing).... The lower cowl might cost around 780/- and its available in bangalore but not sure in chennai... but better you directly get it from a hero spares dealer instead of waiting for the showroom guys to get it....
I think the silencer guard(cover) can be repainted outside instead of going for a new one...
Always be careful in traffic bro... cant expect everyone to be a safe rider..Last edited by Supreeeth; 09-26-2013, 01:35 PM.

Road full of Idiots....correctly said in CEAT tyre AD....
check at SVC for fairing....and for silencer heat guard..either get a carbon finish sheet on it from Karol Bagh or if want to change shall cost you 700 Rs for old one (black) and Astra Gold color may be price more...and can be fitted in old ZMR
