Launching date mate, no idea if tech specs has been revealed though there were rumors of 2/3 bhp of increase, 20 nm of toruque etc etc, I've been following the ZMR thread since long, actually I would've bought ZMR in january 2013 for myself but unfortunately (or fortunately ?eh as i am hoping they will launch new versions by this year?) not in india, hence hoping to see some new flesh/ avatar of ZMR..
though looks are subjective here, Karizma/ ZMR are always known for their practicality hence i am looking forward to it.

Well, they are going to be on sale from the Festive seasons.. when they say festive, I am not sure which one I am thinking Diwali and more new products (250cc) is going to be launched by March 2014..

Specs are not yet revealed and i am eagerly waiting for the same.. and if they are better than the current ones, i will see if I can get it done on my bike too.. but otherwise small things I will change like the sprocket kits, chain guard and maybe the tires if they are 110 profile..

        .
If it is this festive season I would love to look at the new version, or else I am going for trusted horse ZMR (old version)...
some people on above mentioned link were expecting more power and trying to compete the new ZMR with duke, upcoming pulsars, etc, I just don't understand, power, throttling were never Karizma's forte, it was known for it refined and relaxed engine, why such competing? eh anyways, people like me who wants relaxed ride, better FE and reliability for touring it is always a Karizma, I will look forward to it

This is what almost all the Karizma owners love in their bikes.. some people after buying it, say they want it to be faster and they do all possible Hot Rods and spoil the bike

I am a happy owner and a proud owner of the ZMR series from the year 2003..

regarding the new ZMR series.. gotta wait and see and yup.. it will be this festive season..

use a bosch double coil relay, the best one for all those who are upgrading headlight bulb or the stock horn..also ensure to use good quality wires like finolex.

The alternator on a ZMR can handle load upto 238W IIRC. Hence, one can skip a relay for 55w bulbs and dual horns. Since we already have a dual horn setup, I feel a more powerful horn can be fit in directly.
One can use a relay if going for 90/100W bulbs. But, that would mean changing the reflector too. Stock ones can't handle that much heat.

We were talking about the starter relay that comes with the bike and upon failure, one can swap it with any compatible OE/Minda/Bosch relay.
Regarding wires and fuses, well one should use properly rated products is all I can say.

Guys using Android phones. Some stale news. Sygic India is free now. Its an offline navigation system. I have downloaded maps for all states and it works well. A good option for tourers who don't have 2G/3G internet.

50,000 done! I guess many might have overtaken me in Odo count. It's been long since I last posted something here. ZMR still doing good although the top speed has taken a beating. Usually the bike used to do 110+ with ease but now a days she is only comfortable till 85-90 kmph post which she struggles. Above 100 I feel the chain might come out :P
I dont know whats the reason but will try and clean the spark plugs in the next service to see if it makes any difference. Last service was at 46,000 kms and I had changed my chain sprocket set. Any suggestions are welcome.

Another weird query I had was, Does the odometer have 6 digits or is it limited to 99999 i.e. 5 digits only. If its only 5 digits that's real sad
