Facing a issue....bike become harsh sometimes and sometimes it becomes smooth...means not a constant smoothness in engine while riding....why it is happening?
So Even a honda does that didn't know and good to know

Guessing the welding joints to be at the same position, only that has to be untouched. Everything else has to be changed. Head light assy, joining rods, etc. But I don't wanna go for any change. I like my zmr headlights!! So looking forward for the chain guard. That's the only thing that's compatible I guess.

Welding points have changed for sure.. see the fairing size mate.. amd see from where the fairing starts.. also the joint where the speedo is attached will have to be changed to fit the new fairing..

FYI.. The EBR is one of the sexiest bikes to look at and I wouldn't call it ugly.. the swingarm is short and hence this mess up in the looks.. otherwise the bike looks fine to me.. but the ZMA definitely is spoiled whereas the ZMR looks better IMO

                              A ride that went wrong

Well guys.. after a long time.. me and my pals planned for a ride on Friday to Manali, Rohtang Pass, Kaza, Shimla & back to Delhi.. we planned for a 4 day trip and planned to cover 1500 kms and we met early Morning on Saturday at Kashmere Gate ISBT..

woke up at 3:45AM and couldn't sleep after.. was waiting for it to be 5:30 to get ready for the ride..

Filled up the Tanks of RTR and My Black Pearl.. RE had the tank full the previous day.. I swiped my credit card and it requested for a pin (first swipe) and I never looked into the mail which I received containing my CC PIN.. damn it.. I had to use my debit card..

well that was stupid.. We were so freaking happy and so damn excited that we were going for a ride almost after 14 months..

so were were on the Karnal Road and we were enjoying the wonderful climate.. it was raining the previous day and hence the weather was just perfect for a wonderful ride..

we took our first break and as usual had our breakfast at Sukh Dev Dhaba (one of the best in terms of quality) the RE started creating problem with misfiring.. me and Manoj doubted water in tank/carb so we opened the carb screw to pull out the fuel from the tube to see if there is water.. the fuel from the float of carb had lots of rusts and we did all we can to clean it up..

we opened the tool kit of RE and was shocked to see all the rusted tools in the kit..

we then started thinking we shouldnt take risk opening the carb of RE.. and we had our breakfast and left the place.. the RE didn't create any problem after that..

after crossing 145kms my friends wanted to have tea so we stopped for some 15 mins..

My friend Amresh was too excited as he had problems with his girlfriend and she was torturing him every time we planned.. this time he didn't even give her a hint about the plan..

had a nice time and a pic of me

well.. we then moved on and didn't want to stop till we reached Chandigarh and we did the same.. we reached Chandigarh at 1:30 PM.. we were hungry and we wanted to have lunch so we were in search of a Dhaba.. and we stopped at a place after crossing Chandigarh.. (some 20kms away from chandigarh) completing exactly 300kms from Delhi

Amresh was getting calls from him mom and he couldn't attend as he was riding..

after halting, he called back and found that his father fell sick and he had to go to Gorakhpur immediately.. meanwhile I was searching for flight availability from Chandigarh to Gorakhpur but none available.. so he called his bro and asked him to book a flight from Delhi..

so we had to return back..

while having lunch we heard horrible sound when turned back to see.. a generator motor fell while being carried by the APE auto rickshaw.. me and manoj went to help that guy pick up that heavy generator.. it was too damn heavy and after almost 10 mins we got it on its 2 wheels and helped the guy..

we had our lunch and we took a U turn back to Delhi.. well.. things even worsened..

just before reaching Chandigarh and before the road splits to a split road we were overtaking the lorries on the left (our mistake) when all of a sudden one lorry pushed my and me off the road and somehow my friend managed to get back on the road and I had no idea what happened.. my bike skidded and I fell down on the right side (survived by less than an inch) just behind the rear tires of the lorry..

No one even cared to help me and my friend didn't notice it.. they went well ahead..

I had to pick up my bike myself and had tears in my eyes after seeing my black pearl completely scratched on the right side.. then noticed nothing serious happened to the bike except few scratches..

then I looked at myself to see if I had any injuries but more than lucky to escape without a single damage thanks to the bulky fairing of ZMR my knees didn't get hurt.. not even a single scratch.. then I looked at my palm..

See the damage to my gloves (pic of gloves taken after reaching home at 11:45 PM)

after picking up my bike one old man came and tried to help me and asked what happened.. he told me to go safe and asked if i needed any help.. I said I am fine thank you and left from the place after adjusting the side mirrors..

my stupid friends were waiting for me almost 2kms away.. they were calling me and my mobile was inside my pocket hence couldn't attend the call.. after reaching where they were waiting Amresh got worried to the core after seeing the horrible scratches on my black pearl and manoj was not in his senses..

manoj was addicted to Pan and he promised that when we go for a ride that will be the last day he will take pan.. and he was carving for pans.. he couldn't ride his bike and he was going insane.. we stopped at a pan shop and got him pan so that he can come back to his senses.. then we took some rest there and we prayed.. had some water and left off..

the guys wanted to have tea so we went to a near by tea stall and we almost rested for an hour there.. I was really in tears after seeing the scratches on my Black Pearl..

we were riding at speeds 75-85 kmph and took breaks often and finally reached Delhi..

One Hell of a curse or a bad eye on our plans

I thanked God that nothing happened to me and nothing serious happened to my Black Pearl..

I will be removing the scratches and will put a carbon fibre sticker on the sides of the fairing to cover the scratches (yes the ZMR will not be visible ) but will think of something after I get this month salary..

Had I fallen a couple of seconds earlier.. I wouldn't be typing this post today..

Guys.. I know its my mistake that I was overtaking on the left.. My Advice.. "Please don't overtake from the left side"

                              Cheers,
